After picking up my pal Tapeworm Tony we headed for Pickle’s sandwich shop, because it’s a great place to pack a lunch, just tell them what you want. This is the first time I had a turkey sandwich here in Lodi at Mr. Pickles. I will say that it is probably my fav. I don’t typically eat a ton of sandwiches, but when I do I always expect the freshest ingredients. The amount of veggies and meat ratio on here was the perfect amount. I think what really makes a sandwich stand out is its bread. I really enjoyed it on wheat and the bread was very tasty!

Conveniently located on the south side of kettleman road next door to Starbucks. Can be hectic to find a parking spot specifically during lunch time. Great menu and reasonable prices. The sandwich size is reasonable and served with a generous amount of meat and fresh ingredients.

The food is absolutely amazing mind you I only watch cheese sandwiches but the selection and quality of cheese is perfect hands down one of the best sandwich shops I have visited locally. The staff is always family and they go above and beyond for every single customer they remember you and remember your order the restaurant is always clean inside and out they do have one broken table that could use a little TLC, but the rest of this establishment is perfect. Bathroom is always clean and sanitary. One of the most important thing is that you are greeted as soon as you open the door they make sure they greet every single customer with a smile. No order is to big or too small. This restaurant is conveniently located. They have plenty of seating inside and if you want to sit outside, they have picnic style tables for you to relax at with umbrellas to keep your shaded from your summer sun.

The service here is exceptional. The owner Jay goes above and beyond to please customers. This in now the only place I will go for sandwiches. The tri-tip sandwich is the best I’ve ever had!
