Each time we visit the area, we throughly enjoy Mr. Pollo Puruvian Charcoal Chicken! The taste is so clean, pure, and seasoned to perfection! The sides also do not disappoint. The yellow rice, black beans, plantains, and the beans and rice mix are just as good! The consistently great taste will always have me going back! I hope this store will come to Atlanta soon!

Good place if you want to grab Peruvian style halal chicken. Good menu and great sides, huge portions. It’s just a little out of the way but if you are in the area do give them a try. We ordered their steak and cheese sandwich, chicken sandwich, quesadilla and rotisserie chicken with 2 sides. Our favorite is steak and cheese subs and chicken sandwiches. Quesadilla are pretty decent as well.

I’ve tried a lot of POLLOs but hands down MR.Pollo Peruvian charcoal chicken lives up to its name! The best in VA yet. This place had the most flavorful food. The chicken. Is so damn good you can’t get it no where else. It’s my second visit here and I am very thankful I have access to this restaurant. The staff is extremely friendly and the beyond good. It’s great. I went in to get a second plate. It’s small and the prices are very reasonable.

In case you’re wondering if I’m familiar with Peruvian chicken. Yes, I’ve been to many many over the past 15 years in the surrounding NoVa, MD, DC areas. Today I ordered the two half chicken platters, both with sides of rice & beans. The chicken was the worst I’ve ever had. Never knew a place could screw up such a tried and true method for rotisserie chicken until now. The chicken was insanely salty and dry. So much so that I couldn’t risk my family’s health and mine. We had to toss it. I’ve had salty foods before, but this was extreme. We even peeled the layers of skins off but it didn’t help. I highly recommend trying elsewhere and know that there are plenty other Peruvian chicken places that far safer to dine without risking your health.

This place is amazing! My wife and I are sad that we had not found this place sooner because we would have been a regular for the past 3 years. The food was fairly priced with the perfect proportions. My wife and I both order tacos. We walked away stuffed and very satisfied! The flavor was delicately balanced and fresh. We will definitely be back!
