I’ve been going there since I was a kid and they’ve always provided me with great customer service. The food is also great it’s my first choice when it comes to going out to have a gyro or Italian beef. The food is always fresh and they make sure you’re pleased with the food. The dine in area is always kept clean and if you need anything they make sure to get right to it.

Absolutely, positively DISAPPOINTED!!! These new owners are not doing this place justice! I just ordered a Italian beef with mozzarella cheese, wet (not dipped) with extra giardiniera! My beef was dry, and hardly any peppers! The flavor is different (in a bad way) Btw WHO PUTS BLACK OLIVES IN GIARDINIARA!?!? I miss the old owners AND the cook they had! I have went here, and ONLY here for 15 years, specifically for the beef! I WILL NOT BE BACK….EVER! Worst $10 I have ever spent!

food is amazing! first time trying with my husband, we got a cheeseburger, chicken tenders and s pizza puff! ALL delicious! the burger had fresh ingredients! definitely will come back. the staff was very nice definitely recommend!

Has all the classics, cheeseburgers, big steak fries, hot dogs, and are known for their gyros. I got the pizza puff and it was perfect, not oily, light and flaky crust. Good old school hot dog joint in Des Plaines. Very fast service. Seems small but at least 12 booths to sit.

This is absolutely the worst place ever I brought a Italian beef from there the worst ever thought I’ll give them another chance went in there today and ordered a sub for $21 dollars on thin slice of deli meat keep warming the fries up no wonder why no one never in there and please fire the cook he in there doing what he wants because it’s not his money or customers I promise y’all will be close soon for good !!

Searching Des Plaines for a four-star fast food Gyro restaurant, so I tried Mr. Pup. Not quite sure nor understanding all the rave reviews. Is this place even authentic Greek, or Italian? I know it’s been there for a very long, long time. The Gyro flavor was not up to par in my opinion, and the fries were terrible. And note to management. One tiny container of sauce does not even cover one of your Gyro sandwiches to give it flavor, and you should not charge customers for a second or third container because there’s barely any sauce in these containers you offer. Will not be going back.
