I pass by this place over a 100 times a week and I never stopped by. Well, I like Sloppy Joe’s and didn’t feel like cooking one night, so I gave them a chance. I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a Sloppy Joe Dog for myself and cheeseburgers for my son and husband. The fries were underwhelming, but that dog was delicious! My son and husband wolfed down their food and told me those burgers were excellent. To make matters better, the food is affordable!

This was my second experience going, and it was very good.. overall I would give it a 9.1 on this visit compared to my first visit, which was a 7. My nephew got the double cheeseburger and seasoned fries, and I got the sloppy joe and seasoned fries. My nephew said it was the best burger he has possibly ever had, top 2. Ever since elementary school, I have adored sloppy joes so every time I eat one it is just so delicious and I am rushed with nostalgia. Our waitress, Savannah, was incredible, and it was a perfect lunch. We even got some banana pudding and it was the bees knees. I haven’t even got to the prices yet! Best sit down restaurant combo prices in town! Which is a rarity, especially since things have taken a more bougie approach on the getwell end of Southaven. The first time we went, there was an elder gentleman playing guitar.. that was awesome. However, the food and our waitress were way better this second time around. I’m excited about returning

Went for lunch on Sunday. Fried chicken, greens, cornbread, turkey wings, beans, and a couple of other things on a small, but delicious, buffet. They do rotate some dishes from week to week. Since my wife and I were still thinking about that chicken on Thursday, we decided to go there for lunch. We both got burgers. Don’t think they were hand formed patties, but they were still really good. She got fried okra and I got fries with mine. Both items were cooked perfectly. They were testing out a meat and 3 lunch that week, but it sounded like they were running low that day, but I’m sure that’ll get better quickly. Wife wanted banana pudding, but they were out of that too, but they made a batch up as quickly as possible and we got some to go. The staff there was incredibly nice and always smiling. Definitely returning soon! Somewhere it says they are closed Sunday, but that is incorrect.
