Brick House
The food and ice cream is good. The prices are not. $10 for a banana split is crazy (Dairy Queen in Imlay City is $6). And then charge a credit card fee and want a tip? All that is baked into the price already and then some. I’ve lived in the area for 20 years and used to go often. With as hot as it is the place should be packed but every time I go by, I only see a few people. I really want to support local businesses but only go once a year at best now. Sadly, the median income in this town won’t support your prices.

Super nice owner! I had forgotten how good soft serve could be! Lots of sitting areas that are super comfortable with lots of room for wheelchairs. Very nice menu for our canine friends too! We will be back for main menu items!

New owner, as of 2015, with many new menu items. A friendly atmosphere with quick service and it’s always a treat to sit outside and enjoy lunch/dinner and a treat. Now 2019 season and Mr. R’s just keep getting better and better. 2020 wider food menu and all delicious and not from a package or can. Staff are friendly, efficient and the outdoor seating is very pleasant. It is now a 5+ rating from me.
