We came early for dinner. It was not too busy. Some people preferred sitting at the bar. There were only 2 persons who waited tables, also handled the register, and takeout orders. The service was quick, even only with 2 waiters.

Who on earth is giving this place good reviews? I can only assume it’s beginner sushi eaters. THEY SERVE IMITATION CRAB. The “lobster” roll was imitation crab. There’s a pile of shredded imitation crab behind the sushi bar. They pile on sauces to try to mask the fact that the sushi has no flavor. I seriously hope we don’t get sick.

LARGE sushi menu. I was in heaven as I am an avid sushi eater and always trying to find new sushi I haven’t tried. I got the Caterpillar Roll and the Spicy Cody Roll minus the sriracha, which were both good. My partner got the beef fried rice with no veggies and the steak was somewhat overcooked but still decent. Prices are a little high but the quality of the food was great. Only bad thing was you pay individually for each side of yum yum/ginger dressing/eel sauce that you get which is about $1 for each.

I love this place. Every time I visit Cincinnati I come here. Their sushi is delicious. Their udon is the perfect texture, and their flavors are awesome. Staff is super nice as well. It’s specially convenient that they do take-out so I can always bring dinner to my hotel, since I’m still not very keen on indoors dining while the pandemic is still ongoing. I’ll certainly keep coming back to Mr. Sushi when I’m in town!

This is the third different Mr. sushi I’ve been to. I feel like they have some of the best sushi within 500 miles of the region without spending a lot of money like a whole lot of money. Even the music in the background was great. When we got up and started dancing in the half empty restaurant as we left, they even clapped us out and cheered us along. I wouldn’t call myself a sushi coniesaur, so take my raving review if you’re a sushi expert with a grain of salt. I absolutely loved this place. Stopped there with a large group of guys and they handles it well and to me the sushi was fantastic. I will be trying to make it a point to eat here every time I am in Cincinnati!

Love MR. Sushi. I was upset to see that the downtown location does not offer half price sushi until 4pm where as the other location in Clifton has half price all day long. I do understand why this location doesn’t. The sushi is a lot smaller at this location as well. Over all, the food was good and the service was “ok”
