We were really craving Korean food and Koreander in Montclair was packed. We found Mr Tofu House and we’re not disappointed. Food is delicious! I got the hot stone beef bibimbap (I think I spelled it right lol) and my partner got ramen (I forgot which one as there are 2 options). We also got the kimchi pajeon (pancakes) and they were great. Server was also very sweet and attentive

Very good food but on the simpler side. Yet, it’s one of the better Korean restaurants in the northern NJ area. Classic NJ location, in a strangest strip mall by a railway track.

If you know spicy pork rice bowl, a type of Korean food, and are interested in the spicy taste, try this restaurant’s spicy pork rice bowl. I’ve lived in Korea for over 30 years, but I’ve never had this delicious stir-fried pork in Korea.

Many vegan options. The server was very knowledgeable about vegan options. Mild is very spicy. There are several levels of spice. Say on the plain side if unsure of spice tolerance.

Best Kimchi tofu stew I’ve ever had!!! Her dumplings were so delicious, crispy on the outside and incredibly flavorful inside!! Korean pancake is to die for !!

Really delicious and amazing service! The sides were really fresh and the kimchi wasn’t too spicy like it can be sometimes. The tofu soup was rich and flavorful but not overly salty. The edamame beans were flavored well too. I definitely recommend coming here if you are in the area

This place is always solid. We’ve been coming here for years and the food is always consistently good. We had the Dol Sot which is a rice dish served in a piping hot stone bowl. Perfect ratio of protein, rice and fresh vegetables. The bowls were hot enough to carmelize and make the rice at the bottom crunchy.
