I came to see what the hype was from Tic Toc. Service was nice & the food came out in a timely manner. But, that’s where the complements ends. I ordered the 2 pieces of catfish & oakra, but for fries instead. I didn’t see that until I drove off. The fries were good, but you can see the bread is the thinnest & cheapest bread ever. The fish has too much of a fishy taste to it that I only had two bites & threw the rest away. My son didn’t even want to eat it because of the taste. The hype is OVERRATED!!!! This will be the last time we visit. $12.99 for a 2 piece is too high also. Oh, the Kool Aid is great!

I ordered a catfish plate and a Sunday Soul Food plate with meatloaf, green beans, and mashed potatoes. I also had 2 cups of blue kool – aid. The catfish was easily if not the best, some of the best in the METROPLEX. The potatoes were soft and good. Green beans had Turkey meat in them, so that let’s you know that you are getting some good food. I must admit, I was surprised at how good the food was. I also order 2 bricks(Lol) of Carmel cake. The cake was soft and moist and had great flavor. I know that cats can make excuses as to location and what not, but if you like to eat. You go anywhere for good food and this spot is worth it!!!! I was also fortunate enough to meet the new owners and saw them working. All in all… I will be back every visit back home!!

I was introduced to this establishment by my daughters. The fish was omg so good! It was seasoned very good and they gave you the options of fries(I got the fries and onion rings). A true diamond in the ruff ❤️

Damit Man *Pardon my language) but I must say this place has the Best Dam Catfish i have eaten since I have moved here to Texas. I didn’t start eating Catfish until I moved here from North Carolina about a year ago. I eat fish but never liked Catfish. I definitely have to give the owner, cooks, and other employees there props. I have been tell ing everyone at my job here in Irving about it. And my neighbor when I got home I shared a piece with them and they was like were did I get that from. They went out and got some for themselves. ♥️♥️♥️ ♥️♥️♥️. DEFINITELY MY NEW SPOTFOE CATFISH and Wings, The wings are off the chain too love them definitely better than some of these other wing spots. ♥️ ♥️

I don’t know why all these years I never paid attention to this place. I wanted some “new fish” lol and the reviews were good, so I gave it a go! While I waited, a man came in and the lady knew him by name. She was nice and I liked that she called EVERY single person by their name when handing them their orders. The man and I talked about it and he said this was his third weekend in a row coming. I was like oh yes, this is it!! Listen!!! I’m glad I listened to the reviews! This was the taste I was looking for. My fish was seasoned to perfection and when I added my hot sauce for a lil razzle dazzle, it was a party in my mouth lol. I had it with okra and it was so good. So of course I have to go back to try the other menu items. Y’all should go too lol. You will not be disappointed!
