This is a nice hidden little gem here in Montgomery! I’ll tell you, the sides are fantastic! Classic yams, mac, cornbread, greens etc. While I’ve had better fried chicken(s), this still gets an honorable mention for that ole’ southern style cooking. All are welcome and they do accept cash/card. We got two meals for just around $25. Not bad!

Real down home Soul Food! Love the daily specials, especially Wednesday and Friday when they have Cornbread Dressing. Their Mac & Cheese is the bomb! I can take a bite, close my eyes and be transported back in time to my grandma’s table. I’d have lunch there every day if I didn’t live 25 miles away.

I’ve been eating at Mrs. B’s for several years but hadn’t been here lately so I decided to swing by and man was this plate good! The catfish was hot, seasoned, and so flavorful. The greens were a tad sweet and yummy! The yams weren’t too sweet and I couldn’t definitely taste a hint of cinnamon. I loved it!

First visit: I would say 2.5 stars. I think we would’ve received a better quality of food if we were there when they first open. The corn was cold, the lima beans was dry (no juice on bottom), chicken thigh/rice were overcooked, and the yams were okay. However, the collard greens were delicious. Maybe in the future, we will give them another try. The price of the meals were reasonable. Customer Service was great!

Great staff and food. I had the catfish broccoli casserole and yams. The catfish was thick firm and cook thoroughly with the right amount of coating. Crisp on the outside and tender and flaky on the inside. Broccoli casserole was good but they have better sides. The yams were delicious like Thanksgiving.

The absolutely best soul food in US! The fried green tomato,the yellow squash casserole ,the greens the Salisbury steak I can start driving back, when I just think about their food! If you are in Montgomery must stop! Every day different menu you can choose from fish to meat to vegetarian. Price $, Stuff 5 stars!
