THIS is the spot I was hoping and expecting during our trip out to NC. The southern charm, delicious (I’m serious, SUPER delicious) food and Victorian home with a wrap around porch. We found Mrs Lacy’s by accident and it was the best part of our trip.

Of course I have to leave a review for this place It would only be right for the “Potato Man” to do. Absolutely love this place their food is amazing and hospitality is amazing. Take it from me if you would like to try their loaded potatoes, I would strongly suggest you place your order for it 2-3 business days ahead of your visit. I would love to see the family take it to the next level and stay open a little longer.

It was a very cute place. They were extremely busy at lunchtime! The food was very good and filling. I had a side salad and that along with a half potato was plenty of food. We wanted to order our dessert to go and they were pretty much out of every dessert by 12:30, except for a couple and then those were limited in quantity. The prices didn’t look that bad when looking at the menu, but when the bill came it definitely was a little more pricier than we had expected. Would definitely recommend though. Our waitress was excellent! Very sweet and kind.

I enjoyed having lunch there. The food is delicious and the staff is amazing. I loved the decor there and very clean. My friend and I both ordered the Rubin Sandwich which comes with a side. I had the pasta salad and she had the broccoli salad. For dessert I ordered the Apple Crisp with ice-cream and she had the Mud Pie.

The atmosphere and people are very nice. The stuffed potatoes are really good. I really appreciate the pitcher of water at the table. It got busy today but probably during the week it’s less crowded. The strawberry shortcake was devine!
