Great spot for a drink and lunch. Classic “bar and grill” atmosphere. Lots of history. Friendly staff. Lots of regulars, so that’s a great sign.

I love sightseeing in Mt. Adam’s. The views from up there are like none other in the city. Anywho, I worked up an appetite while on my stroll and we stopped here for a quick bite. My friend didn’t have the same experience as I did because her order was a lil off. However, as you see I’ve given it 4 stars for the great, food, service and atmosphere. I’m not a huge fan of taxidermy as I love animals.

A true hidden gem in Cincinnati. A friend took me for lunch and it was a great experience. The atmosphere was fantastic, casual with a unique décor that I absolutely loved. Check out the wall of celebrities that have performed at the Playhouse and their photos and autographs are on the wall. Way cool. The service was excellent, the food was fresh and very good. I had the amazing tuna sandwich with sweet potato fries and I have to say it was excellent. You have to get out and visit this place, I know I will be back!

Can’t recommend it enough! We’re vegetarian, and the menu has quite a few good options. We love the charming back room with its historic touches. Service has always been attentive and friendly. It’s also the best value around. It’s our go-to spot for dinner out.

Quaint little place for a sandwich or drink. I enjoyed the atmosphere and neighborhood. It was a little pricey but in line with the area.

I sometimes forget what a great place this is. The food is always top notch and a they have a nice selection of signature drinks and bourbon. I will be back more often.

Cute restaurant with a cozy vibe eventhough it’s quite large inside. I had Eduardo’s Italian hoagie and my husband had the reuben. We both agreed that our food was very good, but the portion sizes were definitely on the small side. Our server was friendly and our food was ready fairly fast. Parking can be a challenge in this area since it is mostly on street and spots are fairly tight. Still worth a visit, though!

Delicious food. The drinks were delicious, but a bit small. Didn’t even get a buzz. I’m a little picky about fries, but these fries were so perfect, they didn’t even need ketchup. The staff are friendly. The back room has a bunch of plants and it’s gorgeous. I’ve been to this bar multiple times and definitely plan on returning.

The food here was nicely prepared and presented, and the staff were friendly. But, I think what really sets this restaurant apart is that it has a lovely atmosphere—it’s laid-back enough one can comfortably hang out with friends (more so at the booths or bar up front), but it’s charming enough to just as easily sit down and enjoy a quiet, romantic evening (more so in the dining space at the back.)
