I’ve lived in Madisonville going on 4 years, this place right here is HANDS DOWN the best place to eat in town. call me bias!! Never had hibachi till i moved to KY and now i choose them over any Chinese restaurant here ANYDAY!

Amateur hour. I hate to say that kroger sushi or Sam’s club is better. The prices are way to high for their product. I guess it’s OK if you have no where else to go.

I hate to write a bad review, I’ve been getting take out from here for years now, but in the times I’ve gotten food from here recently, the quality has gone down severely. The sushi is made sloppily and remnants of avocado, roe, and ingredients from other sushi have been inside the rolls I order (which are very simple), however the worst thing happened very recently, there was an eyelash in the soup that I ordered. It makes me sad to say it, but the quality of the food and even the sanitation should probably be taken into consideration. I hope these problems will be fixed in the future, but for now I think I’m done eating here. I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt the need to let other people know.

6 hours in and 3.5 out on round-trip. So great in had to stop on out. LOVED the sashimi lunch special in and EVEN BETTER sashimi Ala carte: escolar (white tuna), hamachi, and masago (got as sushi). I swear the escolar was the best I’ve ever eaten. Very basic place with the freshest sashimi. Quick, friendly service. Great value. Almost worth the drive! Will stop again on next trip. MUST TRY! Will bring a cooler and haul some to cousin on next to trip.

Food was great but cook was very sloppy and messy. Slung food and sauces everywhere. Staff was too rushing and rude. Wouldn’t allow us to set where we wanted. Removed Food dishes before we were finished eating. Forgot part of our order. Then brought it out late and then took it as well before finished. This is the reason for this rating. I had moved away and hadn’t been here in a few years. I couldn’t wait to eat here while visiting. Guess it will be a lot longer before I come back if ever. Nobody wants to pay $80+ for a meal and not even be able to finish. The portions had changed as well unless it was due to being at the last seats at the grill. Just rude!

First time there was very good. The second time there was a dog in the restaurant! Not a seeing eye dog but a mutt. I like dogs better than most people but not whining while I eat.

This place is always great. Very good food. Waitresses and waiters are always really friendly and polite. The atmosphere is awesome. I highly recommend this Mt Fuji.

The staff was very pleasant and the ambiance was nice. The Chef had a tough crowd but he worked hard. The sashimi deluxe was better than expected but not top notch. Our hibachi meals were excellent and we had a ton of food to take home. The fillet mignon pleased my date and she is a very tough critic. In all we decided we will definitely come back.

There is no way I could give this place any less than five stars! The food is so tasty. I highly recommended the Chicken and Shrimp Hibachi Combo, it’s very flavorful. The service is amazing as well. Very clean inside.
