I’ve never been more uncomfortable dining before. We sat at a regular table at 5pm and the staffs toddler was wondering the restaurant our entire meal. Coming to our table constantly- touching our food and drinks, laying on the booth and kicking me as we’re trying to eat. I really wanted to like this place but it didn’t meet my expectations, I’ve been here about 3 times and was disappointed each time. The first time I went and had hibachi and the service was good but the food wasn’t since they just added a ton of garlic, the second time I went there i had table service and ordered shrimp tempura and it was just tasteless and left me so nauseous not to mention it was overpriced; the third time I got sushi and it was so overpriced for such a underwhelming amount and then they forced me to leave a tip. One of the best restaurants for sushi in the capital district. I have been to a number of different sushi restaurants this is by far my favorite. We order from here regularly and have never had a bad meal. Love it. Highly recommend.

We where a few mins late to our 6:30 reservation. No big deal. After standing in line for 10 mins not sure who the hostess was i shouted up to the people at the bar we have a reservation. We where then told we where too late. Ok it happens. So then they told us we had to wait till 7 then told us 7:30 we finally settled for a regular table because 3 isnt enough for hibachi. My son and i ordered chicken dishes. Both had a horrible burnt after taste like being cooked on a burnt uncleaned black top. If you want good Japanese go to wasabi in latham! Much better food!

I’ve dined in and ordered take out from here. Everytime the food is great. Only one time out of 25+ times has something not been cooked to my liking. Filet was too rare for me, but only once ever. Staff could be friendlier but otherwise, almost as happy and full when leaving.
