We thoroughly enjoyed dinner date with my daughter at Mt.Fuji. Had a wonderful time . As always courteous and knowledgeable staff, fast service and always delicious food. Had to have the green tea fried ice cream. Highly recommend this place anytime.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mt. Fuji, and it was an exceptional experience that deserves five stars. From the moment I entered, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the stage for a delightful evening. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly their Sumo Roll, which was an absolute culinary masterpiece. The combination of fresh, melt-in-your-mouth sashimi, perfectly seasoned rice, and a delicate balance of flavors made every bite an explosion of taste. The attention to detail and the presentation of the dish were equally impressive, showcasing the chef’s dedication to their craft. Alongside the Sumo Roll, the restaurant’s extensive menu offered a wide range of delectable options, ensuring there was something to satisfy every palate. The friendly and attentive staff added to the overall wonderful experience. Whether you’re a sushi connoisseur or simply seeking an exceptional dining experience, Mt. Fuji in Newtown is an absolute gem that I highly recommend.

Best hibachi hands down! We ordered the steak, scallops, chicken and shrimp, and everything came out perfectly! Our hibachi chef was also very entertaining, singing and serving us fried rice, while flaying our food and lighting onions on fire! I really think this place is the bomb! Pricey but worth it. They also have a ton of pics of Will Smith in the lobby, haha! The sake was definitely great as well.

Dreadful. Had a glass of wine at the bar and ordered take-out for the family. A small side of ginger dressing ordered turned into a pint. The spring roll ordered was not in the bag. And the order took 35+ minutes. If we were at a table we would have gotten up and left. Oh, did I mention I was one of only two customers in the entire restaurant? We’ve enjoyed the establishment over the years, but lately, I feel like they’ll get around to me when they feel like. Food is still good. If you actually get what you ordered.

Nothing special. I prefer A1 Japanese Steakhouse but today we decided to try something new and it didn’t meet our expectations. To begin, it was too much waiting. We had to wait a while to place our drink orders and actually getting them. As for the food wait, we ordered about 30 minutes before they came out to cook which is long because hibachi usually is a quick service; you order, they come out and cook, but this took forever. We came in at 7:30 and got out by 9:15pm.

I ordered the habachi takeout. The filet was tough and barely 2 ounces. The chicken was cooked too long. You can see where the chicken stuck to the grill and burned. The pieces were jagged and hard to chew. It didn’t come with noodles and the vegetables were one piece of broccoli and one piece of onion and carrots swimming in some kind of sauce.

One of the best dining experiences I have had in a long time. Jack the hibachi chef put on a great presentation and everything was delicious.

Really nice place to go to for celebration. The atmosphere is very good, well lit with a nice overall relaxing feel to it. They have Kobe beef, which was very good, and their shrimp was delicious as well. Sushi and dumplings were worth trying for sure. Fuji apple sake was a good experience. The lamb chops were very nice as well, but it was a bit messy to eat those. Will return to try other dishes!

I went there with my family to have a dinner service was very bad dinner for four people judge $157 and they charge me $28 tips without my permissions when I ask questions they getting upset give me a bad service that’s illegal to charge tipswithout customer permissions! if they give me a good service, I could give a $50 tips with service was so bad and they force to take tips without permissions that’s very rude. I should call Better Business Bureau and file complaint and I will never go again.
