Unfortunately, this restaurant changed hands. Our friend remembered it with a really good, full salad bar. However, the salad bar was gone. My husband and I split the full rack of ribs and ordered a side salad and sweet potato fries. The salad had iceberg lettuce, very underwhelming; the sweet potato fries were not great. The ribs fell off the bones, which was good, but we’ve had better. Based on the main meal, I did not order dessert because I felt it would be disappointing. However, our server provided very good service. But we would not go there again.

So far so good! Been twice and food was good and service was good. For Gluten Free options, they don’t have to put breading on everything…. Just ask! I got Cod fillets without breading and it was great along with a perfectly cooked sweet potato!

Our 1st visit was a wonderful experience. The resturant was clean and the service was friendly. We were very pleased with the selection on the salad bar. The cod and catfish meals were fresh tasting. The chocolate pie reminds me of my moms with a chocolate pudding texture. We look forward to our next visit.

Disappointing. Certainly not anything like the old Lake Manor. We were there late afternoon so not crowded at all. My chicken broccoli Alfredo had no broccoli and sauce was too thick. French fries were steaming hot and best part of the meal. Shrimp was so so.

This was disappointing. From the time we sat down; waiting 5+ minutes for a waitress for a drink order. The food; pizza hoagies with tiny beef patties. Cheeseburger that was more bun than anything. No flavor really. The only thing we even liked was the fries. Over $40 for 3 people with mediocre food. Not to mention it was hot inside, we were sweating. Only friendly person was waitress, hostess didn’t say anything except how many? This isn’t a bar either. There’s no actual bar or even a decent list of drinks. This is lake manor trying to change its name but not the service. New outside porch but the entrance still looks terrible & isn’t safe for elderly. I didn’t enjoy lake manor when it was open but I was excited to try a bar & grill & it was more disappointing than lake manor. The owners of lake manor should really just sell this place or bring someone in who knows what they are doing. I’m sorry.

The staff are all really wonderful and helpful. My problem with this restaurant is that it has changed hands and basically turned into any other restaurant, they got rid of the salad bad which was the only reason most people went. It’s basically a knockoff of Butterbees now. Sad to say I won’t be back after growing up with this restaurant.

Formerly the lake manor restaurant, they took out the salad bar, and have the same menu more or less in addition to serving beer. I had the shrimp and rice pilaf special. And who ever made this recipe and or cooked it should never step foot in a kitchen again. From the seasoning to the cooking, every bite was a little bit worse. How they could’ve made shrimp thats coated in seasoning taste so bland and greasy on top of a rice pilaf that was for some reason sweet?? No, I will not be a returning customer. Maybe they still do the traditional bar food well still but not worth the risk. Still clean, and very good service though.
