The food was magnificent as usual! You have to give this place a try! My favorite is the Hatch Mac Burrito with brisket! The brisket and mac combination is fire! They offer optional coleslaw and a variety of salsas to add to your burrito. If you are unsure, they will put them on the side. Their burritos are huge! If you are a meat lover, I recommend trying the Pipeline. That thing is huge! It’s packed with brisket, pork, chicken, rice and beans. It’s also delicious! It is always a treat eating here! I hope you give it a try for yourself!

Small venue with a big flavor. This was my first time visiting MUCHACHOS at Lincoln, NE, and I will definitely be coming back. Had two flavorful tacos, one chicken one beef, with tender meat, smoked to perfection top with avocado citrus sauce. The owner treated their special Hatch Mac and cheese that was to die for. What a tasty experience. I also had the Watermelon Matcha Latte, which is also a winner in my book. If you ever visit Lincoln NE, this should be an official stop.

First off, the food here is amazing! A nice blend of BBQ and Mexican. I had the brisket and hatch Chile Mac quesadilla, which was massive! I didn’t know they made tortillas that big! The only downside to the place is the size…which just means they should grow into a bigger location. We stopped for lunch with a group of 6 and it was literally impossible to sit. We sat outside when it was 40 at a picnic table, which would be nice in the summer!

We got brisket tacos that were great. We also shared the small nachos with chicken that were all really good. Our friends got the brisket hatch mac quesadilla which was amazing. I also had the cucumber cooler really refreshing on a hot day. The local art on the walls was awesome ! Our waitresses were super friendly and provided great service. Will definitely return when we come back to Lincoln.

I CANNOT recommend the tacos here because there are NO toppings. I think it’s extremely overpriced for a plain taco with sauces. That being said I tried all three tacos and the were decent, just please give us some toppings!

I’ve given this place several tries and just can’t get into it. Great vibe, cool space. I’ve tried the hatch mac, brisket tacos, breakfast tacos. Most people I’ve talked to rave about this place but it’s just sub-par food. The barbecued meat tastes like it came out of a crock pot.

I’ve eaten here twice, the first time I got some tacos to go that weren’t the best. A friend told me to try the burritos, and those are SO good. Definitely spring for the brisket no matter what you get. The building is a little too compact for me to want to dine in, I usually take out. I’ll keep coming back, but am still looking for a go-to Mexican place.
