Easy seating, sever was friendly and attentive. The outdoor seating was well shaded. The portions were substantial. The shrimp/crab were not salty but they were also a bit under seasoned. The corn was over boiled. Overall, a nice family/casual date restaurant on the boardwalk

Honestly shore fries were a great pleasant surprise. crabs were better than ok I had better, the fried fish was edible thinking grease was too hot or going had to send fish tacos back lettuce and tomatoes were sour and watery unfortunately at that time

Fresh seafood dinner for 6. A fun experience. For market price, expect to spend around $50/person(2023). Delicious. The seasoning on the hard shell crabs is old bay and other spices. Very good. The steamed corn was very good.

Absolutely the best place in OCMD for Crab Pots. We had the Snow Lovers w/ 2lbs snow crab clusters 1lb steamed shrimp and 2 ears of corn we also added on steamers, fried calamari and soft pretzel sticks with beer cheese. Everything was awesome.

We ordered crab cakes, oysters, crabs, scallops, mussels, lobster mac and cheese. Everything we ordered was excellent! The best part was that we could taste how fresh the food was. It wasn’t fishy or rubbery(scallops).

The food was okay! They added gratitude to the bill and made that mandatory. That I think is not appropriate. It should be the choice of the customer based on the service provided. They also charged about 5.5% fees for using credit cards without informing. The server did a great job. I hope those gratitude goes to them.

I come here every time I come on vacation. I absolutely love the staff and the food. As soon as we got into town I went right to Mug and Mallet to get the Shore Fries! If you love crab meat and cheese you will love these fries. I recommend this place to everyone I know when they say they are going to Ocean City Md.

I was born and raised in MD and was stationed in Idaho for the past 3 1/2 years so I was planning on eating crabs. I loved eating crabs on the boardwalk. It was cool because a lot of people would look at our crabs and then turn around and come down the steps. Yay for attracting customers. I loved the shrimp cocktail and the Italian soda orange crush. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is a few of the crabs were a bit mushy inside, but that’s no big deal. We just picked new ones and put those on the side. It was only 2 crabs out of 2 dozen, but I was really sad to hear that the steaming was in an old bay substitute and not the real old bay, which is also understandable because of the scarcity and market prices of everything. I have had better crabs around my neighborhood here in MD, but I still found myself smiling and enjoying eating crabs on the boardwalk. Hopefully the pricing for old bay gets better because not having the MD tradition was a little sad, but another plus was service was great and the prices were a lot better per dozen for the crabs.
