We are picky and are new to the world of Indian food (started off with the frozen stuff from Trader Joe’s to see if we like it) and decided to have our first real outing at Mughal the Biryani house. We were NOT disappointed! This place is extremely new as they have only been open for a month but the quality of service and food really shows that they know what they’re doing here. The waiter was very enthusiastic about explaining the menu items to us and even asked us the level of spice we want, which lets you know that all of the food is prepared fresh and made to order. I highly recommend ordering several dishes and sharing them family style because there are so many good things to try – instead of ordering individual entrees per person. We ordered the veg samosas, chicken 65, garlic and butter naan, parotta, butter chicken, and chicken tikka masala and split it between 4 of us. I was surprised at how reasonable the bill was at the end for what we got, we ate around 1 pm and it’s currently 6 and I’m still full. It is BYOB which we didn’t realize but the non alcoholic beverage options on the menu were excellent. The cold coffee drink and the tender young coconut was phenomenal. Highly recommend coming here, we will be back!
