Delicious!! I was a little intimidated reading the menu with all the combination of ingredients, but I was truly impressed with the results. Their take on classic dishes is one that ensures each bite is packed with flavor During our visit, the chef gave us his own homemade hot sauce to try! This left the impression that he truly takes pride in his work. Food made by someone this caring will always taste amazing

This place needs to be hyped more! Chuck the owner is awesome and so are the bartenders! Great variety on the menu. Food tasted amazing. If I had to complain about anything it would be the ketchup! No great value allowed coming from a ketchup lover. Family friendly. Cool drinks. We are excited to try their new menu!

Fun decoration! Feels cozy and adventurous at the same time. The staff talked loudly about who was going to “take her”, which is fine but felt a little impersonal, and like I was a bother. That being said the owner made sure that my order had been taken and was very nice. The food was okay but bland, especially compared to the way the menu described it. The thyme waffles were sweet and very thyme-y, which was sort of an odd combination I wouldn’t go for again. The fried pickles were good but the dipping sauce needed flavor or salt, as did everything I had besides the chicken tenders on the waffle. Overall a decent experience but if I went again I would get something else.

Michelle the bartender is super experienced, sweet and friendly. The food was absolutely on point. And I loved the different chandeliers. This place has a calm and old school creamery vibe, with a shop in front and bar/dining in the rear it was a great atmosphere.

The service was amazing, very slow on this cold night which is to be expected. We got a bunch of different things to try out among four of us. I loved the Chili Fries and Philly egg rolls, not into fried pickles but these went quickly at the table. I did expect more from the tacos but unfortunately the taste was not to my liking (they gladly helped me find something I did like although I got full fast).

We first experienced Munchies 719 as part of the Rocky Mountain Food Tour. Not only was our food sample amazing, the owners took time to visit with us and share their heart for creating scratch gourmet food with amazing flavor combinations. We were so impressed with Chuck and MaryAnn’s food creations, we rearranged our plans to fit in another meal at their quirky diner and spent our mealtime discussing how soon we can come back to Colorado Springs and try something else at Munchies 719. Portions are huge. You must try the green chili and if you’re into trying new and innovative cocktails, you are in for a treat!

Ordered the chicken and waffles and the fried mozzarella sticks; the waffle was soggy on the bottom and instead of frying a whole chicken breast or even a cutlet they were individual pieces of chicken breaded and fried, the result being the toughest, chewiest stringiest fried chicken I have ever had. Gravy was opaque and had the consistency of sweet and sour sauce. The fried mozzarella was also very dry and stringy and some pieces you couldn’t even bite through. Will not be back.

Wow! Amazing! We stopped here on a family trip to Colorado Springs and we were very impressed! The food was delicious, generous portions (I have a 17 year old son who couldn’t finish his plate ) and the prices were very reasonable. Although we didn’t take advantage, they have a full bar with super fun drinks! I would highly recommend to any travelers (or locals) for a locally owned, mom and pop restaurant!

Amazing service and atmosphere! The space is really big. The front of the house is focused on sweets and treats that look delicious and fresh. Sat at the bar with Mitchell and he was super cool! Gave us a lot of good local tips and knew a lot about the menu. Admired how much he genuinely cares for the business. Also, THEY HAVE CUBAN SANDWICHES WITH REAL CUBAN BREAD. This is a BIG deal and I super appreciated the fact. Gave some tips on how to improve the sandwich but mainly hoping you guys sell loafs of bread eventually Will definitely be back

We found this place on a Sunday after leaving two other downtown breakfast joints. We were pleasantly surprised at the amazing array of fusion food. I had the best carnitas and potatoes of my life! The seasoning was fabulous, spot on! We eat Mexican street food in Mexico a lot and this place has captured those timeless flavors. I can’t wait to come back and try more of these unique and perfectly executed creations! I had the carnitas omelette and my husband had the eggs Benedict with perfect made from scratch hollandaise. The coffee was fabulous and I’m picky about my morning brew. My only suggestion is there should be a sign in front that welcomes folks and directs them to seat themselves in the restaurant section which is in the back. Even adding some decorative lights around the restaurant frame opening would help direct people and make them feel welcome. Also, once the patron makes their way to the back they should be greeted promptly. The server was talking to a friend and did not acknowledge us. Also, saw another group have the same experience. This small business is rocking it big time and will work out the kinks. Best breakfast experience I have had ever!!! Keep up the great work and creating wonderful dishes!
