Very cool place! Spent a week in Portland and this ended up being a favorite. Returned multiple times during my stay. Megan, Tiana, & Tanya were great! All of the regular patrons are very friendly and will strike up a conversation with anyone. Also met the owner! Really great spot with great drinks at the best price. A real gem.

This place reminded me of my hometown, a cool little hole in the wall that opens up into a very cozy bar with friendly service and locals who are happy to strike up conversation with you. We enjoyed meeting the owner and just chatting. The drinks here are strong and well poured. In the evening, they have music on the back deck.

This place is a neighborhood bar in the old tradition. Just a bar. Not looking to be anything else. If that is what you are looking for, you will find it here. Have been here a couple of times and service was excellent both times.

You could die of thirst trying to get a beer here. Sat at the bar for 20 minutes before leaving. There are plenty of better options.

I hate to give this a 1 star experience because it has so much going for it, but that’s truthfully what it was. We just moved 1 block from this establishment, so my wife and I were really excited to have a spot so close to us. However, the experience was terrible. The bartender was very mean to it group. First, she told us she wouldn’t serve us because she already did last call….we showed up 50 minutes before close and it was packed. Then we got like 4 bud lights, in bottles. We tipped her $3, and she lost her mind on us. Considering it was my wife’s surprise birthday party that I threw, I was not happy that the bartender was telling us not to come back because we don’t tip. First, opening a couple of bottles of beer requires almost no skill, so no I will not tip $10+ which is what she wanted. Second, you don’t tell the patron, especially one whose birthday it is, that they’re cheap and need to leave. I’ve literally never experienced this before in my life, and I bartended for years in Portland. Totally bizarre and disappointing. Do not go here.

One of the best dive bars I’ve ever been to. The cast of characters is great.

I’ve lived in Portland for 7 years and this used to be one of my favorite bars. The bartenders used to be awesome and one once even brought my ID into town to meet me when I forgot it there. I went for the first time in years, was greeted by employees/bartender glaring at me while they vaped with each other at the bar. I got two long islands, the second of which was pure lemonade. She then told me that they were $15 each (is this Luna?) and smirked at her friends in the corner. I got the feeling I was about to be mugged so I paid for my $30 lemonade and left.

Me and the bartender are the only females here. Opted against food because it looked like it all was reheated. One drink and we left.
