My family and I stayed in an Airbnb around the area and we were looking for a place to pick up dinner after driving over 4 hours from New York. We found this place on Google, saw the reviews, and decided to eat from here. I ordered the goat curry with a side of vegetables and rice. I also tried the jerk chicken Mac n cheese my family ordered, and the fried fish my fiance ordered. Everything I ate from here was delicious! It was cooked perfectly, flavorful, and they give you a ton of food for a good price. I had leftovers for the ride home! If I ever visit the area again, I’ll make sure the eat from here! I wish this restaurant was around my hometown lol

This was my first and last time ordering from here. I love food and will pay for great food… Now, I paid $18.20 for a medium plate that was supposed to come with plantains and I asked for steamed cabbage and this is what I got!!! Where are my plantains? Where is the steamed veggies? Why do I have chicken back and all small pieces of meat I paid $18 for??? Make it make sense! Instead of charging me when the order was incomplete, they could’ve given me a heads up and said they didn’t have enough to make a medium plate and I woulda canceled and ordered elsewhere and got my money’s worth! They notified me when they didnt have the jerk pork. So y not lmk u didn’t have what u needed to make a medium plate or sides that comes with plate? This ain’t what I paid for! Unprofessional! I called numerous times and they finally but say nothing! You can hear the wind in the background and rain because it’s raining. They knew they sent me whatever because they were closing. Y’all see what i ordered and what I got. Horrible! I could’ve spent my money elsewhere and with better customer service. I hate wasting money and especially going to new places… Oh! And Ubereats won’t refund me even knowing they took my money and didn’t send me what I paid for! Never again will I order from here! Smmfh

I went to the zoo but wouldn’t buy meals there at zoo pricing. According to a review, Murl’s Kitchen serves the best mac & cheese ever. I had to investigate. It turns out that they were correct! A hidden gem in the neighborhood, Murl’s Kitchen serves superb Jamaican food. They have a fully filled cooler with a variety of Jamaican drinks. The food came in a wide variety, had generous amounts, and was reasonably priced. The customer service was warm and supportive. The Mac and cheese was just as excellent as other people had said it would be, and the chicken was cooked to absolute perfection. Don’t let this opportunity pass you by!

I went to the zoo and refused to pay the zoo prices for food. I discovered a review that said that Murl’s Kitchen has the best mac and cheese ever. I had to check it out. As it turns out they were right! Murl’s Kitchen is a neighborhood gem with excellent Jamaican cuisine. They have a stocked cooler with a wide selection of Jamaican beverages. The food was priced well, the portions were huge, and the selection was large. The service was friendly and helpful. The chicken was cooked to perfection, and the Mac and cheese was just as good as other people mentioned. Don’t miss out on this treasure!

Only 4 stars bc the jerk Mac and cheese is soo good ! Other than the Mac tthe food is really salty and I like a lil extra salty but it was just too much for me. Maybe it’s just the stew chicken and cabbage. I would order again just to see !

This is by far the Best Jamaican Food Restaurant I’ve eaten at. I’m currently in the hospital and just started back on solid food. And my son went and brought me this seafood from this restaurant and I definitely have to call this restaurant and give them high praise. Cause I never knew of them before. I was disappointed to have spent so much money for two large dishes of stew chicken only to be served one leg and the rest chicken backs with no meat on them. I am not an animal who eats bones. I paid for meat/stew chicken and that’s what I should’ve been given not stewed chicken backs.

Murl’s Kitchen authentic Jamaica cuisines never disappoints. The restaurants sautéed salmon w/ rice n’ beans dinner is Amazing. Their Mac and Cheese is BOMB. The cabbage veg medley is a excellent choice for vegans. Friendly and professional staff service and A+ for cleanliness.
