We came here 3 times during our stay in VA beach, that’s how good this place & the food were! Best variety & priced happy hour for food. We really enjoyed their oysters & steamed shrimp. The oysters come from their own locally sourced company. Friendly staff, casual, family-friendly atmosphere. Would highly recommend!

We had dinner here on a weekday evening. They were setting up for a live band outside, but we dined inside. We were quickly seated and a waiter came to our table in short order. He suggested any of the Irish specific items, so I ordered the Irish Ruben. The rest of my family ordered burgers and a fancy salad. My ruben was really good with some interesting french fry like potatoes. The one burger was a bit overdone but they said they were good. My daughter’s salad was really good too. We had to wait a very long time for our food, and the waiter came over and apologized. He also came and refilled our waters which was good. The restaurant was decorated with a lot of police memorabilia and had an overall dark colored theme. Besides the long wait for the food and the one overcooked burger, it was a good experience.

Very amazing place to go to get some live music outside and or inside calm dinner. They had a beautiful bar setup and all around amazing decor inside, I loved the design of the place and the food was amazing. My boyfriend got a burger with oyster sauce I believe and I got the adult grilled cheese with fries. The fries were different than I’ve ever seen but delicious! The drinks were good too I got an orange crush and my boyfriend got a Guinness. Definitely would go again if I’m ever back in town on vacation!

Murphy’s has the classic Irish pub vibe with the warm wood and bar as the heart, and is located just off the Virginia Beach boardwalk. I had fish and chips and the “award winning” she crab soup. I was disappointed with both. The she crab did not taste like it was freshly made and the fish and crab were from Sysco instead of being locally sourced. The restaurant is right on the ocean, after all. My friend was gluten free and there were a few options available for her – hummus and salad.

On vacation with the family. We had a wonderful time here. It was 10 of us, and they had no problem seating us right away. There was a live band, and everyone was smiling and having a wonderful time. Our server Micaella was wonderful. We started with the beef nachos and mozzarella sticks. Our meals consisted of chicken tenders , Ole Bay wings, blt sandwich, grilled cheese sandwich, sheperds pie, salmon, and the fresh catch. We all loved our meals.
