My first time and I can honestly say it’s worth it and price is fair service good. I’m mostly satisfied with the fact they fixed my eggs biscuit just the way I asked diced pepper mix in my scramble cheese eggs and the cheese grits was done right as well I will be back.

Wanted to try this place out for a while. Parking is a premium since the restaurant in a small shopping center/laundromat (2.5). Murphy’s has a small town diner feel which adds to overall character of the spot. The food was AMAZING. I got the steak poblano omelet and my wife got the chilaquiles. Overall presentation was (5). Taste (5) our tastebuds are still doing the happy dance. Service (3) the server didn’t really check on us maybe because of the time we went . Would recommend as a good breakfast/brunch.

Great place to eat, all the food that came out looked great. Even the ones going to other tables. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Best place I know for grits. You must order and enjoy. Breakfast with friends is easy and enjoyable. Sometimes you may have to wait on a table but we’ll worth it.

Great place for breakfast. I havent eaten there for lunch at this time. The breakfast is really good. Service is quick and responsive. The only reason I gave the food 4 stars is due to the drink limitations. They only have can drinks and no refills on that. So if you want a refill, water or tea is your best option. Other than that the food is price competitively and won’t break the bank. If you’re looking for a spot for some good breakfast I’d say give it a try.

I’m very sorry for the low score at Murphys. I’ve eaten at Murphys for many years and have always been very pleased with the food as well as the service. My wife and I went in for breakfast, as she loves the shrimp and grits. Well the service was a little slow, even though they weren’t really busy, and when we got our food, her shrimp had the tails still on them. Well, she proceeded to remove the tails from the shrimp and after getting all of them, started to eat. After about three bites, she bit into a shrimp tail that was not from her shrimp and I thought she was gonna loose it right there. The owner didn’t seem to care a whole lot and only took a couple dollars off the meal, even though she left almost the whole thing there. My pancakes were very good however. Just don’t order the shrimp and grits.

Breakfast was delicious! The cheese grits were super cheesy and smooth. The house potatoes were fresh and the omelet was huge. We will definitely be back. Our waitress was nice and attentive. The restaurant was very clean!

Great menu items to choose from. From traditional American fares to great Mexican dishes. I ordered the pork chop with eggs, grits and toast. The grits were perfectly creamy smooth and the chops were seared to perfection. The staff were very attentive.

From the outside you would never know the food is on a down home gourmet level! Nothing fancy, cafeteria environment.

My first dining experience. This place was suggested to me by one of their older regulars. I ordered steak and eggs, Medium rare, home fries, cheese eggs. Got a well done steak, BOTH TIMES. The eggs were fluffy, home fries, meh no biggy…. Needless to say…. I’m not impressed… The one waitress that I have seen is not very waitressy ‍♀️ she doesn’t smile. And you don’t get a ticket until you go to the register. Oh and keys not forget to mention the $7 glass of orange juice I’m not gonna recommend. But if you like bland food, I would come here ‍♀️
