We ate just before the dinner rush. The service is always a pleasure to talk with. Everyone is very willing to make your meal as good as it can be. The portions are more than enough. You shouldn’t be hungry after. Everyone should be able to find something from the menu.

The food was really good. Service was a bit lacking. We waited to get seated for about 5 minutes when there were only 3 tables occupied. Once seated we waited another 5 minutes more to just get chips and salsa and our drinks order. While waiting we noticed a bunch of dust on the over head duct work and ceiling fans. Once food arrived it was hot and very good. Had to catch a waiter to have a refill of water. Prices were average. We will dine here again but hope service is a bit quicker and hopefully the dust issues get taken care of so we don’t have extras in our food falling from the ceiling.

Tried this place as something new. First time customer. Had high expectations after the margaritas and appetizers tasted so good. The salsa and bean dips for the chips were spot on. Service was friendly. Then came the entrées. I ordered the Molcajete bowl. It was the smallest bowl I have ever been presented. Maybe half the size of other restaurants but for the same price. The food within the bowl was subpar. A dried chunk of avocado was placed on top of a few thin strips of chicken and asada mixed with the regular tomatillo sauce. The family had enchiladas and tacos respectively. No one finished their plates. Food was bland and quality was questionable. 3 stars for friendly service and a great bar and appetizers. However, the rest of it will not make me a repeat customer.

The food is really good here. The service is ok. The staff seems to have their favorite customers. Seems like the favorite customers are the ones that keep going back. The main manager came and took care of our table to make up for the lack of the waitress we had. She seemed to have an attitude, took a long time to come and ask us for our order. Like I said the food is good but service is lacking.

Our server, Miguel, was very nice and treated us well. He found out I speak a little Spanish and gave us free ice cream at the end of our meal. Besides that, the food was really good, well priced. Chips and salsa provided before the meal for free. Went at about 7:30 on a Thursday night and had no wait.

While I understand the current economic climate, I felt my experience was underwhelming. Party of five on a Friday evening I know you can have a wait so that is not part of my review. The chips were stale and lacking flavor as if they were just poured out of a bag that was left open for a week or so. My carnitas quesadilla was lacking flavor as well. My wife had Shrimp Ceviche which was presented in a large bowl and only 3-4 very small tostada chips. The ceviche had so many jalapenos chopped in it which made it so overpowering and not edible to anyone at our table. I was going to have it taken away and redone or taken off the bill, but my wife thought maybe it would get better if we take it home. Even if I wanted to get her something else to eat or some tostada chips with her meal, it was probably not going to happen. The reason I bring this last part into the review was service, or lack of. Our waitress only there to take the order and bring the check. Nobody ever came back to take her drink order as she told the waitress she was still looking at the drink menu. I finished my Pacifica cerveza even before my quesadilla arrived, I would have liked a few more or even a margarita (not frozen) which is what my wife decided on too. So unfortunately this restaurant lost out on some pretty good profit margin on drinks since the waitress never came back except to bring the check. My wife did leave a generous tip, because she knows how difficult the service industry can be. As we just returned from Mexico and we missed the food, so we decided to come back to one of our favorite spots.
