Best empanadas in the area. We ordered beef empanadas. Really yummy. For dessert we got the caramel (dulce de leche) empanadas… and let me tell ya…. as a Dulce De leche lover, they went beyond my expectations!! Really recommend. Staff is great and I loved that they were make to accommodate is with our little fur-baby.

OOOOOO Yummy ! I am a fan of Cuban Food and I love new places! The Man & I went for lunch & had a great time. Its not a big place & the spaces fill up quick. Cuban food isn’t Mexican, not the harsh grating taste in the back of your throat. It’s milder & when done right, an excellent balance between heat & sweet. This place does a good croquette, I must say. The Man got a burger & it didn’t wow him due to the size. The flavor was great & I thought it good. We got the Dulce de Leche empanadas for dessert. Yummy !

Last weekend we drove to Belmont from Raleigh to try out the new Cuban restaurant, My Cuban Corner. The sound of salsa music greeted us, as well as the lovely owners Nicole and Junior, both from Miami! My husband had a pan con bistec, I had a palomilla and our baby ate Croquettas and Pastelitos. I also enjoyed a much needed Ironbeer! If you haven’t checked them out yet I definitely recommend you do! Everything was delicious and tasted just like home!!

This place is awesome. Reminds of the little Cuban restaurants that are throughout Miami. The staff was friendly, the food was amazing , and of course the cafe con leche was on point. Folks don’t miss out on this hidden gem. Highly recommend.

We had midnight Cuban Sandwiches and cafecitos. The cafecitos were rich, very sweet (never had one, so maybe this is the norm?), and not very hot. The sandwiches were excellent, and the plantain chips were great! Nobody checked back with us after our orders came out, even though our table literally sat against the service bar. And they didn’t provide napkins. There were no napkins on the service counter, and none on the tables near us. Happy I tried this restaurant, and its new, so maybe they have a learning curve. I tried to get in 2 weeks ago at the same time, but they were closing because they ran out of food. I will be back, but I won’t recommend it until these kinks are smoothed out.

We have been anxiously awaiting their opening – and it was well worth it! From the cortaditos and Cuban toast to the croquetas and empanadas – it was beyond delicious! The spices and ingredients were mouth-watering, the service was very attentive and exuded warmth. Anyone who knows a Cuban, loves them. I get to be married to one – and yes, my man can cook like his parents. I’m beyond thrilled for our community to experience this amazing culture, cuisine and love. All I can say is – they nailed it!

First time goers for lunch. The sandwich was delicious. The restaurant is clean, service was fast and friendly! Recommend but one thing I would change is the fries-they are like cheap Ore-Ida crinkle frozen fries. Fresh cut fries would make the meal perfect and justify the cost of the sandwich which is an expensive lunch.

Excellent Cuban restaurant for the area. I was so happy to see the food diversity and inclusion and to the great town of Belmont. These guys are an asset and definitely worth checking out. True Cuban flavor we walk in the vibe is excellent friendly staff. The owners are wonderful people definitely will be back.
