My Nanny’s Restaurant has been serving up good food since 2010. Since October 2021, the new owners have been making lots of improvements so that this is the best Mom & Pop, Hole In The Wall Diner off of Hwy 19. WE are open 7 days a week from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. & until 8 p.m. on Friday’s. Breakfast is served all day & authentic NY Water-Boiled Bagels have been brought in. Breakfast on a Bagel is the Bomb. Cuban’s have also been added to the lunch menu & we even have a Beef Liver Dinner.
Only 1/2 mile South of Northcliff (up from Weeki Waachi State Park on the same side). Our stand alone building sits back off Hwy 19, is next to the U-haul quality care auto & across from the green Extra Space Storage. Look for the Dancing Chef.

I was here many years ago and the new owner has really dressed the place up. The food was fresh, homemade and cooked to order. Our waitress Chrissy was fabulous, friendly and informative. She made our lunch visit awesome. The homemade desserts looked fantastic and I can’t wait to return to try them. The pressed Cuban was tasty as per Chrissy recommendation and the chicken salad sandwich was full and fresh.

This a small American fare diner/cafe. The inside is bland with a bit of a nautical seaside theme going on. Which is fine, because the food is pretty good. It’s not amazing but it is a solid place to eat a couple sandwiches and just get a no frills meal.

Little knock about place with a big menu, full of delicious options. Portions are huge so go hungry! The staff was very down to earth and welcoming. Our service was fast and even tried a sample of homemade dessert. I bought a huge slice of the best carrot cake that I have ever had! I will frequent this family feeling diner! Wonderful people, wonderful food! I love a place where breakfast is served all day! My sister got the Cuban sandwich and I had a Denver omelet. Home fries grilled with onions tasted so good! If you are local you could eat here for weeks and never repeat your order! Sum it up? Yum!

Found this gem by accident and it has been the best experience. The food is amazing and to top it off Chrissy customer service is beyond amazing. It’s something sweet about enjoying your meal and being able to laugh with your server. It makes for an excellent experience. My only wish is for them to add turkey bacon/sausage to the menu.
