Recently, we dine at the Myungln Dumpling that served a variety of dishes that truly captured the flavors of South Korea. The Half and Half – Original Fried & Soy Garlic combo was an absolute standout with its crispy and juicy chicken, and the contrasting flavors of the Original Fried and Soy Garlic chicken were a real treat.

Never had Korean dumplings before and these were excellent and HUGE. We got the veggie and pork and kimchi buns, which were softball size! The shaomai and pork and kimchi dumplings were well filled! The beef soup was light and would be great as a stand-alone meal also. Will need to come back and try the fried chicken next. Service was great, and while the decor is old, the place is quite clean.

This spot has been on my radar for quite a while, and I felt like we needed 4+ people in order to taste a lot of the menu – but I haven’t been able to coordinate that yet. However, we were going to a picnic with family and needed to pick up some food to feed everyone and it was a great opportunity to try their chicken – which other reviewers rave about. And it.was.amazing! We tried the original, the soy garlic and the sweet & spicy. Everyone was incredibly impressed and couldn’t stop talking about how good it was!

Me and my daughter came here for the first time today. We had the sweet bean dumpling, pork & veg dumpling, fried dumpling, beef rib soup and beef/veg dumpling soup (we had a lot to take home). Everything tasted amazing and the customer service was excellent as well. We will definitely come back 🙂

Well made food that was brought out at the correct times with good texture and simplicity. This was an absolute gem. The portions were awesome, but the most important thing about this place is how much flavor is in each item. The menu is simple with the offerings of bao, fried rice, dumplings, etc, BUT each thing came out so delicate and warm and when paired with the kimchi, which had this nice umami, excellent. Super recommend for an outing with the family or just finding a great hole in the wall with well made food.

Tucked way in the back of a tiny strip mall this Korean dumpling place was really good! We will be back. We ordered way too much food. The pork buns were as big as a fist! My husband loved the fried chicken. The short rib soup was mild and delicious.

My husband and I have had Korean fried chicken at a few different places in Federal Way, but this is definitely my favorite. This has a small eatery feel to it, rather than bar atmosphere. Besides the chicken, the dumplings and green onion fried pancake are delicious too. You are not going to get a crispier green onion pancake anywhere else. I love their dumplings because they are well made and don’t give me heart burn which unfortunately many of the Chinese restaurants do.
