Mz Jade’s exceeded my expectations. Which is impressive given that I’ve followed their social media for a year wanting to try it. Robert was incredible, the food second to none. I got there as the kitchen was closing, and the food didn’t show any signs of it. The appetizer of fried pickles and soul sauce was amazing. Robert brought a variation of soul sauce just as good. The seafood boil was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. Flavor off the charts. This place should be featured on Food Network.

Just giving an honest review. The atmosphere and restaurant itself is very cute and lovely! Went for the drag bingo and I don’t think the restaurant is who hosted it, more so just provided the venue. It pretty unorganized at first and they didn’t have things set up on time, but it managed to be a fun time though! As for the quality of the food, the cornbread had good flavor but pretty crumbly. The fried chicken chunks I have no complaints about. The Mac n cheese was a good consistency but was lacking in flavor heavily. The fried green tomatoes appetizer were excellent!! My friend ordered grilled shrimp and they gave her fried, but it was a happy mistake because it was the best fried shrimp we’ve had. The drinks were good but the prices were a little outrageous. I got a pretty basic fruity mixed cocktail and it was 15$ and my friend inquired about a shot then found out it was 15$. My meal pictured below was 30$ for everything which is a little more on the pricy side as well

Probably best catfish I’ve had and the greens and Mac and cheese was very good also. We had the mozzarella cheese sticks for appetizer and they were excellent. Will definitely come back.

The restaurant was adorable! Very clean and the workers were kind and welcoming. We had a great waitress. We had a large group, everything came out perfectly! We all tried each others dishes, and almost everyone agreed that their favorite was the smothered pork chops(unfortunately I didn’t get a picture )!! THE STRAWBERRY BANANA PUDDING WAS DELICIOUS! I can’t wait to come back, we live 40 mins away but it is well worth the drive!

This place is a whole vibe! We stopped in for dinner today and we’re impressed with every part of the experience. Excellent service, never had an empty glass. The food was phenomenal. We had wings, shrimp, collard greens, cabbage, Mac and cheese and fried pickles. The music was awesome. I loved that Rob stopped by the table and told us the history of how Mz. jades came about. Our server was Charlene (maybe) and she was as sweet as can be!

The first thing we saw was the prices sky high!!! The waitress guilted us into staying. When my food came, those 5 chicken wings were more like cornish hen. They were so small and that dinner cost 20.00. My husband had the hamburger…. while it was plenty of meat. It was dry and they had no mayo. That was also 20.00. It was 6:30 in the evening so we ate. I had to salt and pepper all my food. I will say it was no soul in that food. Let’s just say, it looks better than it tasted.

The atmosphere, music, and dining area were nice. Both servers were great. The fried green tomatoes and cheese sticks were good. They should have the option to get marinara sauce. Didn’t care for the “specialty” ranch sauce. It didn’t taste right with that sauce.

Very nice place. Not too crowded bit you can tell the vibe was very good. Food was delicious . Cook too order and then even have Kool-aid on the menu. Will be going back. Even the owner was there helping out making sure things where running smoothly. Love this place…

I’m currently seated in the restaurant, I’ve been waiting on my meal for 1hr 1/2 and I was just informed all the meals I ordered ribs, meat loaf and sweet potatoes are currently OUT…. The manager comes over NOT TRULY SYMPATHETIC. He was asked a question and his response was “ I truly don’t have time to try to do a timeline on when your order was placed” .. This is my 4th time coming patronized this restaurant and this is what I was given to eat. UNACCEPTABLE
