In the many years I have been coming here, it has always been a great experience. The food is phenomenal. The service is great and the bonus is that there’s a super cute dog called Borona that greets you at the door. I highly recommend this place if you want good quality food, great service and a relaxing atmosphere.

Cousy little place we found in San Jose. It’s a new alternative for us. And we like it. The patio is amazing, great ambiance. Service was really really good and friendly. They have specials of the day so ask for them. The hamburger was really good and the fries were the best part. It’s a little expensive. They are pet friendly.

The mixed salad was so fresh and delicious. Like straight off the farm. The salmon picatta pasta was also great! The portion was insane; like an entire pound of pasta and it seemed all the portions there are large. I saw the Brussels sprouts come out and it was huge! Overall, very fresh and well prepared dishes.

This is one amazing restaurant! Seriously… I’ve been here twice now and both meals have blown me away with how fresh and tasty they were. Last month I had their Mango Shrimp salad that was probably the best salad I’ve ever tasted in my life. Today I had their Jager schnitzel which is right up their with some of the best schnitzel I’ve ever tasted and I lived in Germany for a few years, so I’ve had a schnitzel or three. BTW, their bread pudding is what brought me here and it’s awesome too! The icing on the cake is that Mark (the owner) and his new bride are really great people and all the staff I’ve interacted with have been wonderful too. Give this place a try… I’m sure you’ll love it. I know I do!

Just had dinner there tonight – super cute place and the food was delish! Had fried brussel sprouts, half order garage wings (Cajun rub), sesame ahi tuna (pictured below) and I split the garage burger with my friend. Table service was perfect. We’re definitely coming back.

The Garage is our FAVORITE neighborhood restaurant. The menu has solid everyday options (many comfort foods, portions are generous) and there is usually a great daily special. There’s wine and beer to go with your meal. Most of the seating is outdoors and can be enjoyed year round (it’s covered and there are heat lamps). We always run into neighbors and friends. It’s truly a local gem.
