4 stars because there is no lunch hibachi menu on Sunday, but there is Monday – Saturday. For Sunday lunch it’s expensive and you get a lot of food versus a smaller lunch portion for cheaper. We just split a dinner and it came out the same if we purchased two lunches. I don’t see what their objective is for no lunch on Sunday.

The service here was definitely hit or miss. We had 3 waitresses taking care of our table. One of them couldn’t understand our drink order, so we had to repeat it a few times. When it came to placing our food order, they kept mistaking my order of oyster tempura for gyoza. People have bad days so I get it but when working in the service industry, you really have to leave that energy at the door so that your guest has a nice experience.

It was my fiancés first time experiencing the hibachi grill and they did not disappoint! The food was super excellent on that day for some reason. It’s always good but it was exceptional on this particular day. I ordered the Pink Lady roll, which we split, and he loved it. We also split the chicken and steak hibachi, extra egg, and it was sooo good! And, of course, the entertainment from the grill was a funny and an interesting experience for us both. We will most definitely be back!!

Got the volcano roll and Cajun roll with my girlfriend. She said she loved the Cajun roll! I also picked my roll at random and thought it was great. Place wasn’t too busy but was gradually getting busy after we got there around 1.

The food quality and taste was to be expected from a run of the mill Hibachi restaurant. The service is just terrible. After not bringing out half of my meal (the included soup and salad on the dinner menu) the waitress refused to lower the price of my meal because “it’s not priced in”, even though it’s mentioned in what you are ordering on the menu. This was thirty minutes into the meal, and I did not see these items for the remainder of our stay. To add on to this she had to be reminded multiple times to bring our friend her beer. And this was with only 3 tables… If you genuinely think this is good hibachi, please step foot out of Hammond, Louisiana.

My husband and I eat here often and never really have any issues. However, I cannot say that about our visit today. I went to the restroom when we sat. When I returned, someone had already taken our drink order. She brought our drinks out and had asked if we were ready to order, to which we were not since I just returned from the restroom (which she saw me sit). When we told her no, she kind of got an attitude with us. A little while later, another server came to us and asked if we were ready, which we were. She took our order and put it in. After that, it started going down hill. The 2 tables around us both came in after us and ordered well after us, they both received their food first. My husband and I both got very simple sushi rolls, so it should not have taken as long as it did. My husband’s sushi came out about 5 minutes before mine, which Shouldn’t they all be brought out together? Once she dropped off my husband’s food, she never came to us again. A different person brought out my sushi. A different server brought my husband a refill. I had no drink left, and the server never once passed back to refill mine. In fact, we had about 3-4 workers pass and no refill. The server finally got my refill she we had to wave her over. We didn’t see her again after that. We waited about 10 minutes after we were completely finished eating for the check. We finally decided to get up and go to the front to pay since we really didn’t know who the server was. When they saw us getting up, the server finally brought us the check.

Loved the sushi rolls, rocky shrimp was sooo good. Sushi was very generous portions. Dumplings were good. Friendly, efficient staff. Clean restrooms. Everyone in my family enjoyed the hibachi.
