We love eating here. The Ambiente is great, the people are nice, and the food is delicious.

The food was really good and the service was ok. I had an issue with the manager staring at me while I finished my food. I ordered the all you can eat deal and he kept watching me and coming over to ask if I was done (at least 3 times). I didn’t order much food. Ordered edamame, chicken teriyaki, and two sushi rolls. When I was still eating one of the rolls, I felt like he was trying to get me to leave sooner so that I would have to pay extra for not finishing my remaining roll. There was another customer that he approached and asked to pay extra for not finishing all of his food. I think this will my last time visiting this restaurant.

Never, ever order from Nagoya in Central. We ordered a hibachi salmon dinner. There was 3 cups of rice, 3 pieces of broccoli and 2 ounces of salmon. I called to complain and the manager said no one else complained about this, why are you?

This used to be our go to sushi place if we wanted to stay somewhat local to Central but the location has really suffered the past few years with service, cleanliness and food consistency.

Over all it was pretty good. Miso soup was very good. Also very good portion for the lunch special but I have a few complaints. There was not enough Wasabi, they didn’t give me any kind of container for my soy sauce, and the thing that bothered me the most, there were cucumbers in my spicy yellow tail. I read the menu and it had no mention of cucumbers. I hate cucumbers. But other than that, it was very good and very fresh.

We should have know by the fact that we walked in at 7:30pm on a Saturday and we were the only customers but we decided to give them a shot. We ordered our drinks and appetizer together and received our hibachi and 2 rolls all 5 minutes apart and had to ask after eating if we could get the appetizer we asked for !!! The hibachi was over $16 and I got 7 tiny pieces of steak that were covered in a sweet sauce to cover the cheap steak taste and I asked the waiter if this is really the portion I get for that price and he got the manager and the manager stood there and instead of trying to make it right for the only 2 customers in the building he was talking about how that was a reasonable amount for the price. WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN & HOPE TO SAVE OTHERS FROM WASTING MONEY AS WELL. Paid full price and had to stop on the way home to grab food to get full after paying $50 !!!!

Great rolls, from classic to inventive fusion flavors. Love dining in or ordering to go, the quality is the same either way!

The food was good. My spider roll didn’t have the legs hanging from it. The waitress was very nice soft spoken and attentive to us.

When we first walked into the restaurant, we were not greeted, just stared at by two men behind the counter. After 2 minutes of awkward staring, another man came up and asked “how many?” (Not hello, not how are you…). We were a party of 5 (husband and I & 3 kids). We were seated, but I had to clean the chairs off myself because there was rice all over them. My husband had a question about what was in a certain sushi roll, and the waitress could not tell us, seemed to get frustrated that we were even asking a question, and offered to come back in a few minutes for us to “be ready.” After that weirdness, we ordered and food did come quickly, but it was odd that we had to ask for utensils. She told us she brings it out when the food comes, like it was their way, which would be fine except the other tables around us were already set up with utensils and no one was sitting there. The food did taste great, definitely not high end sushi, but good. The kid’s menu was a bit pricey and I feel there should be at least one green vegetable offered on the kid’s menu, but that is just me. The music was worldly, which I would have just ignored, however, when explicit curse words were being sung in a song, I asked the lady to please turn that off or change it. It took quite a while for her to do whatever she did, but I think she just turned it down. After that, they seemed to rush us to leave and didn’t even offer us the dessert options even though I heard them offer to other people in the restaurant. I would say this is NOT a family-friendly place. The only plus side to the to-go plates and bowls everything was brought in was that it was easier and faster to pack up the kids’ food and leave.
