1-2 weeks ago…I ordered the salmon and shrimp combination with salad, a glass of plum wine and H2O with lemon and lime slices. Everything was palatable but you could tell that they use already cooked shrimp vs raw shrimp due to the rubbery texture, pungent taste and my body’s inability to breakdown the product which causes a foul fishy smell for 24-48hours. TMI but honest. I do not have this issue with raw shrimp that has to be cooked then served. Overpriced for already cooked shrimp. If my senses serve me correct…

Called ahead and asked about needing reservation. The lady told us it’s just an hour wait no reservation needed. Get there, get refused service and made up a lie saying they was booked and needed reservation. To say all this, they refused to service my family of 6 ( 4 kids) was because the color of our skin. The waitress didn’t want to even speak to us, the manager came and spoke. Just be aware, not bashing this place but keep in mind if you are told a similar excuse

As a vegetarian it can be intimidating at times to find sushi and also something that isnt just cream cheese. Nagoya has a very wide variety of vegetarian options and for the price you can dine like a king and make out like a bandit with the quality of feeling spoiled. I plan to visit here often from now on

The food was good but the service was awful and prices not worth it. Many hibachi places still offer buy one get one half off entrees. Nagoya doesn’t. They also do not offer soup and salad with entree. It’s one or the other. Factor that in with wait staff that does not refill drinks and we’re done with Nagoya. All the other hibachi places offer both soup and salad so not worth it to pay the same amount for less food.

Family of 5 that made a reservation for 6:30. We waited 20 minutes and ended up leaving. It was super disorganized and it seemed like they clearly didn’t have their act together. And if I’m spending $30 a plate, it should be better.
