$40 for 2 containers of hummus, 4 grape leaves, 2 shells of pita bread, and 2 baklava.. sorry for a bad pic, drank too much wine before thinking about the review. Stay away!!!!!!!! Rip off.

It was very cozy for both the environment and the food, the food is homemade food, not heavy, not greasy, no excessive sauce, made me very comfortable. We dined in there, and bought another two pies to go.

2⭐ because the food was good. But Check Your Bill!!!! Prices were very high. They charge for everything! We were not handed a bill to review at the table. He just gave us a total at the register. Once paid we were charged $7.50 for 3 bottled waters. When we only used 1. This was after I told him I did not use my water. His answers was just take it with you. No I do not want to pay for it, that is the point. I ended up taking one from the cooler because he wouldn’t refund my money.15% gratuity added on to every bill. For 2 our bill was $95.

How this restaurant gets high ratings I’ll never know. This was by far the worst Middle Eastern meal I’ve ever had. The grape leaves were inedible, the tea was Lipton, the rice pilaf was plain white rice served in a bowl with no condiments for the bland beef cubes. And to top it all off the inattentive waiter/owner had the audacity to include a 20% tip on our bill. I never write reviews but the low quality of this subpar meal left me no choice but to vent my frustration. Won’t be back!

My best friend and I found this little gem! The owner was so kind and the food homemade and delicious. The atmosphere was authentic. We would be happy to return. Amazing grape leaves!

I really wanted to like this restaurant – a small restaurant run by a Lebanese couple – but certain things about it left a bad taste in my mouth. I’m writing this in the hope that the owners can address them and make improvements. When I got my receipt after paying, I was shocked to see that they had charged $5 for two 500 ml Deer Park water bottles. We were asked what to drink and I said just water and the owner brought 2 bottles for my son and me. I’ve noticed some restaurants have switched to bottled water after the pandemic, and since the owner didn’t ask us specifically if we wanted regular or bottled water, I didn’t think much about it. They also include 18% tip to their check by default. My son wanted some garlic sauce with his shawarma and we noticed that they’d charged $2 for this. I get it things have become more expensive now and restaurants need to charge more to keep up with the rising inflation. And we ordered 2 baklava to go. It was slightly bigger than what you usually find in other places but $8.50 for 2 pieces seems a little steep. While this didn’t personally affect me, I noticed on their menu that they have $5 splitting fee. Coming to the food, I ordered a fattouch salad that I liked and the spinach-feta pie wasn’t bad either. My son said his shawarma wasn’t great and that he’s eaten better shawarmas at other places. To be honest, I think the only thing that truly left a bad impression is the fact that they charged for water. It’s not a big deal in the larger scheme of things but it’s not something I’ve seen in restaurants in the US before.

Homemade, delicious and healthy! You cannot go wrong with anything you order, truly. I come here at least once a week for the chicken and hummus. Najat and Henry (owners and chefs) are lovely, kind, and extremely talented at what they do.

My wife and I had the vegetarian platter and it was delicious! It came with about 8 or 9 different plates. The hummus was the best I’ve ever had. The gentleman that served us was very friendly and accommodating. We’re from SoCal, but next time we’re in Pittsburgh, we’ll be heading back here.

Great family owned restaurant with great middle eastern food. Shish kebab is a great choice. Kubbeh is very authentic. Humus is delicious. Their pies are phenomenal and strongly recommended. It is wonderful to have the real taste of middle Eastern food. No deviations from the original receipe and spices. Treat yourself with baklava or rolled kadayifi with pistachios after your meal. Such a wonderful place to dine in.
