This is definitely on my list of favorite local spots in the Birmingham area. A fantastic Mediterranean restaurant that also has a small market inside. They also make their own pitas in house. I highly recommend giving it a try.

A little off the beaten path, but this place is a hidden gem. The food was great, reasonably priced, and the staff was friendly and extremely attentive. I will be coming back soon. If you’re looking for Greek/Mediterranean, give them a try. You won’t regret it.

bad food all and all. the falafels were dry and seemed to be frozen. the gyro meat were not in slices as it should be but rather in crumbs. the soup was also bad and seemed to be microwaved.

Ordered food for a baby shower. Staff were very accommodating and easy to deal with. We ordered 5 lbs of the chicken swarma , fabulous JouJous pita bread they make and dolmas which are stuffed grape leaves. The chicken was cooked just right . Everyone raved about the food. We will do this again.

Really enjoyed my zaatar pie (really more of a sandwich) with sour cream, tomato, onion, green bell pepper, and olives on the side. The produce was crisp, the pita was fresh, and the zaatar tied it all together with a satisfying earthiness. The Lebanese coffee was nice, too – a little different taste than brewed coffee – but I added a whole bunch of sugar to it.

I wanted a different place to eat. I tried najis pitas and was blown away. My mouth woke up and told me to eat more. That was in 2013. Now it’s 2022 and I live in tampa, over 400 miles away. I drove 9 hours, to get my hands on their food. It was amazing. I remembered every bite…and I only hope that savory taste lasts.

This place was awful. I’m not sure what reviews I was reading that praised any of the food here. Their shawarma was probably some of the worst I’ve ever had. It was flavorless and tasted like the meats were all boiled and had some salt thrown on top. We ordered the steak shawarma, chicken shawarma, and gyro platters. The orders were to go. The salads had raw mushrooms which was odd and they were served in a taco shell. I recooked all the food once I got home to be able to eat it since I don’t like to waste food no matter how bad. Would not go back.

I wish I could give a quarter star. The baba ghanooj was swimming with olive oil and over seasoned with garlic. There was easily a quarter-inch layer of olive oil. I ordered the beef shawarma, thinking I would get shawarma. Instead I get microwaved hamburger meat with piping hot tomatoes, that left a mealy taste in my mouth. It smelled strange, unlike the shawarma I’ve had before. If you feel like getting dissapointed and feeling like you have been ripped off, I would go here. The water tasted like water so there’s that. You couldn’t pay me to come back and pretend that I like the food.

Very bad quality food. The only good thing is you get fresh pita bread that is made on site.
