The Nam An chicken rice is great, with the ginger chilly fish sauce. The lemon grass grilled chicken is so so. Try the deep fried sticky rice, it was the highlight. The food didn’t come out fast. The staff all looked sad.

I enjoyed my meal here. I had #6; chicken on a bed ‘crispy rice’. Food was fresh, tasty. Portion size was good. Service was good. Dining area decor better than usual. Price – more than small ‘mom/pop’ place, but not unreasonable.

Forogt to take pictures as we hungry and the rice chicken and porridge with chicken salad come out so good. They all carefully debone and cook so well that can preserve the flavour, still juicy. They must be free range chicken as the meat is full of flavour and firm.

The Nam An Chicken js good but only a few pieces and too pricey for $16.80/portion with no drinks, which is worth $8-10. Buy a whole chicken at Lien Hoa BBQ for $16-18 and make your own at home is a much better deal. Raise the price too much after Covid but unreasonable are most Vietnamese restaurants. So why business is super slow whenever I’m there.
