This place is a treasure and I expect folks will discover it more and more and there will be lines down the street. Great food served well with a pleasant decor and a nice touch of class. And the food was delicious too. I had a lamb stew and my wife had a chicken stew in a tomato sauce. Both were excellent and we were having lunch platters that were so nicely put together with everything you needed for a really great meal. Naan bread, cucumber flavored yogurt and perfectly cooked rice complemented my stew so nicely. And a rice pudding to top off a really excellent lunch. I can’t wait to return.

Cute little restaurant tucked away in west side Santa Cruz. Staff is friendly, food was good. Chicken Tikka masala is good, it’s more tomato based though. Chicken korma very yummy. Not a huge space so definitely call ahead if you have a party larger than limited parking situation. Uber/Lyft or park around the neighborhood

Beautiful place, excellent food, great lunch specials. However, I felt completely blown off, service wise. For a Monday at 1pm, being the only patron, as well as my first time there, they could of shown a little more love than just take my order and then present the bill. Next time I’ll bring my husband, maybe they’ll be more comfortable chatting with him. Oh, and no parking, be forewarned.

Been there on Friday Eve, only a few parking available outside of the road and that was full. Once you got into the restaurant, the tables were full as well. Need to wait for 10 mins. I noticed more foreigners than Indians for the first time. Pulav and prawn we ordered was tasty and less quantity. They either need to increase the quantity or to decrease the price 🙂

Normally when I think of Santa Cruz, I think of fresh seafood. However, I opted for Indian and tried this place. I ordered the Tabdoori Rack of Lamb. Holy smokes! It was absolutely incredible. So flavorful and tender. I will go back again for sure. Try it when you’re in town.

Good food, prompt service. Liked their avocado bhel, that’s a good twist to the bhel. Curries we tried were malai kofta, shahi paneer, baingan salan and dal tarka. Good taste, nothing to complain. Location is great and not too far away from the Boardwalk for a nice post-meal walk we all have gotten used to after a heavy Indian meal!
