Great place. Used to come here when they were located in a smaller restaurant. The quality of food is different. But the flavors and food are still good. Service is super fast. Line is pretty long to get a table. Soup dumpling options are vast and typically all taste really good. Other options are also decent. The 两面黄 was a little too soft/drenched in soup. Overall, felt a different from before it “blew up.”

Finally had a chance to try this magnificent place in New York . We came here first thing when it opens to beat the crowd . We were welcome to out seats instantly and ready to order everything on menu. The menu is pretty colorful with all the different colored dumplings. They are known for the juicy dumplings and chicken soup. We tried almost every dumplings on menu . Everything came out so presentable and delicious looking. The services was great and attentive . We are very impressed with the food and would come back to nyc for this place.

This restaurant boasts a delightful atmosphere complemented by commendable customer service. The food, while reasonably satisfactory, didn’t quite hit the mark in terms of flavor. The prices, on the other hand, were pretty reasonable. The place is particularly known for their dumplings, which seem to be a crowd favorite. So, if you’re planning a visit, their dumplings might be worth trying out. Even if their other dishes may not tantalize your taste buds, the overall experience might just make up for it.

Fantastic soup dumplings! Came in with friends for dinner and we were not disappointed. So many different flavors to choose from and nice presentation. This spot is famous for their soup dumplings but the other items on the menu, like the udon noodles are amazing too. Be careful coming in on the weekends because this place gets PACKED and you might have a hard time getting in.

Overhyped or not? Waited for over an hour to grab a table for 5 on Saturday. The serving speed was incredible, my table was full of dishes in 10 minutes after we ordered, and the food was all freshly made. The overall quality was remarkable, but you have to get prepared for the crazy crowd at weekends…

First place I tried soup dumplings back at their old location around the corner. Love their pork and crab soup dumplings. They’re the standard I compare all others to. Enjoyed the other dishes we tried too

The staff were friendly enough but what really was a turn off was when they allowed another party to steal our table because they were dissatisfied with their original seat choice. They already had drinks and such on the original table and still requested to move and they allowed them to, making us have to wait for them to move all their place settings over and clean it for us.

Been wanting to come here for over 3 years based on reccs and it did not disappoint. Went around Sat ~6:30pm and wait was only 10m despite 8 parties ahead. Ordered their classic Soup Dumpling as well as the 6 colour version. Been Udon was definitely a highlight. Cucumber salad was fresh & tasty. Want to come back for breakfast next.

This place has become a staple in the culinary scene here in NYC. They now boast this location as well as another in Midtown Manhattan.

Branch of famous xlb shop in Shanghai. I cam here for the big dumpling soup, the one you can drink the soup using straw, unfortunately, they don’t have it here, pretty disappointing.
