Got charged $72 on a $60 bill ( I counted up after I left because my friend had a suspicion about the high price . They have no itemized bill system in the end, everything you ordered is written on receipt paper with a random number at the end .. no way to know if there someone added taxes or gratuity fees!! This place is super janky !! We even still tipped an extra $8 besides feeling completely blindsided… you took extra tip and added it to our total smh tax wouldn’t be 20% . My black tonktsu ramen was good but my friends spicy miso ramen was bland . Wish we would’ve went to Ramen Danbo .

My wife and I had the Yasai Shoyu Ramen (asked to remove tofu) and it was phenomenal!! Didn’t even miss the pork/chicken broth in traditional Shoyu ramen. My picture was half way through eating the ramen but there was a generous helping of arugula on the top. We came at 12:30pm on a Tuesday so we were there with only one other customer. The service was fast and our waitress was decent, nothing to write home about. The decor and ambient is also decent. In other words you come here just for the food. Prices are fair, we will be coming back.

I wanna say we had an isolated experience or a bad day but after reading some reviews I don’t think it was that. There wasn’t much warmth from our server despite us being the only people there at first.

Definitely a gem. An escape from the busy Brooklyn streets, you are treated to a cozy atmosphere with great ramen. A PERFECT date spot.

Service was quick, despite being very busy here, and the prices are not astronomical. I did feel the person working the front was overwhelmed, as it does have a good number of people in for lunch. I ordered the shoyu ramen, and I must be honest, I wasn’t satisfied. I felt the broth’s seasoning was super light, the meatballs tasted as if they were frozen and rapidly cooked, and the egg was slightly overcooked but still soft in the center. The serving was akin to what you’d get at a place with a lunch special, where the price is lower because the serving is smaller, as the amount of broth and noodles left me desiring more. I can’t justify coming back, but it was a solid experience being in there. Perfect for anyone who has a softer palate though, if you can handle bolder flavors you should look elsewhere. They do charge tax even though it’s a cash-only place, think of that what you will.

This is a lovely ramen restaurant! Cute place to dine for friends or family, even during COVID-19 (outdoor dining in the back). Went as a family and got to try a wide selection of ramens and dishes from their menu. Everything was really delicious, especially the mackerel and takowasa. Really appreciated that the soup wasn’t over salty allowing us to truly appreciate its flavor and finish the soup. Overall, a wonderful place in Brooklyn to get Japanese Ramen. You won’t be disappointed!

Yummy!! This place is good for a quick high quality lunch or dinner. Love the ambiance and decor. I plan on eating my way through all the ramens on the menu. My boyfriend is vegetarian and about half the menu is veggie broths, so it’s easy to order a veggie entree without meat. They even give you a free green tea creme brûlée for desert! Pro tip: ask for the chili oil and garlic. They also have a cute backyard with private booth seating. Unfortunately not wheelchair friendly though.

Cash only. The ramen here is mid, but the rare, imported Japanese hefeweizen is sublime, if you’re into that sort of thing. Come for the beer, stay for the underwhelming ramen and nice atmosphere.
