A perfect location for a Sunday family brunch. When it comes to service they understood the assignment! It was a tight squeeze for a party of 5 but it worked. I would not order the salmon croquettes again. They serve Cajun grits and will allow a sample before ordering it. The French toast waffles and cinnamons waffles for our table were awesome and paired well with a delicious omelette.

Loved our breakfast at Nana’s! Chicken and waffles were fantastic! Also enjoyed the Peach cobbler waffle with lots of whipped creme and cinnamon. Mr. Charles was fun and our waitress was great! If you are living here or just passing through it is definitely the place to be!

It was a pretty good experience, except that I didn’t like my salmon patties, and the mimosa seemed watered down. Everything else was perfect. My date gave a taste of her lobster, shrimp, and waffles, which was very good like the other items on my order. The atmosphere and service were good also. I’d eat here again, but I wouldn’t order the salmon patties or mimosa.

My 2nd time at Nanas. 1st time at the new location. I waited 3 hours to be seated. I was so disappointed with the wait time, especially because we made a reservation that wasn’t acknowledged because it was through their website and booked with YELP. Ended up eating at the bar and never getting a table. Took the bar tender 30 minutes to take our order. When we finally ordered the food, it was definitely nothing short of AMAZING. I’ve never been disappointed with the food but they need a bigger establishment and more staff. I’m not sure if I will be returning any time soon for a 3 hour wait. It was ridiculous!

First big congrats on the new location. The area is definitely better and much more space. The chicken is grand slamming. Crispy and perfectly seasoned. The waffle is average at best and somewhat cooked to fast. The average wait time to be seated is 2hrs. This has the case both time I have went. Reservation is highly recommended.

I had an amazing dining experience the first time I visited this restaurant, so I decided to order takeout for my mother to share the goodness. However, this time was a huge letdown. I spent $89.00 on food, and it was definitely not worth it.

Omg, delicious! There was an hour wait to dine in so my husband and I ordered online and ate in the car before we hit the road home. Our food was ready in 18 mins. We both had chicken and waffles, I had the peach cobbler waffles. Chicken was fried to perfection, crispy breading and well seasoned. The waffles and peaches/cobbler sauce were great! We will definitely be visiting again when in town!

To be honest I was hesitant to dine because I’ve heard mixed reviews about the food and the pricing. Several people have said that the food wasn’t that good, the service wasn’t good and that it was overpriced. Fortunately I like to make my own decisions and I do enjoy supporting local businesses. We died in during brunch hours although the menu is the same all day. When I tell you my banana fosters waffle was absolutely delicious, it was not overcooked so it was soft and moist, but it wasn’t soggy or wet, the only thing I will say is I wish the bananas were more Foster LOL. I was looking for that caramelized, crispy, sugary topping that I’m used to with Banana Foster, but because I enjoy bananas anyway it didn’t mess up the meal for me. My lunch date also enjoyed her meal although I can’t remember what she got because she was so indecisive about what she was going to order LOL. Our server was friendly. And we are definitely planning to go back so we can try some of the other waffle flavors as well as drink specials. The only downside to dining in is it is a cramped space because it is small without a lot of room and customers were continuously coming in while we were there so there was not a quiet time or a time where there was more space which is a really good thing for the restaurant. Always trust your own good and listen to your own advice, don’t let negative reviews of any place deter you from trying it yourself, you never know. Everyone’s expectations, experiences, and taste buds are going to be different so it’s worth finding out for yourself, in my opinion. This happened to be one of those times I was definitely happy that I listened to my own voice instead of what others had told me about this place. Hopefully our future experiences will go just as well as this one did. In regards to the priciness, I believe you get what you pay for and I believe you pay for quality. If it’s out of your price range then don’t go, find somewhere else that’s more budget friendly. People complain about not having better options for dining in but then they also complained when an establishment comes along and charges what they’re worth, this is not a fast food restaurant so you’re not going to pay fast food prices.

The best food we have in an area of basic and flavorless food. A little crowded especially since it was busy but it was still fast service and amazing food. I got the cinnamon roll chicken and waffle, my mom got the cajun shrimp and grits, and we both shared the four beignet.

Ok look, if you are in McDonough or anywhere within say an hours drive you MUST go to Nana’s Chicken and Waffles! This place is absolutely amazing!! We were in town from Florida for our son’s graduation from Georgia Tech and his boss told us about this place and said we need to go. He was right! We started with their fried green tomatoes. The best I’ve ever had! Topped with a yummy sauce and crispy bacon crumbles. There were four of us in our party and we each ordered one of their chicken and waffles. I had the bananas fosters deep fried waffle. Fabulous! The others had banana pudding, peach cobbler and strawberry shortcake waffles. All also fabulous and the chicken wings were perfectly cooked and crispy. One in my party ordered the tender’s instead of the wings and they were good too but not as good as the wings. We will be back and encourage you to go if you are reading this!!!
