So, Nancy’s is a humble little place, but the food and service we received… was superb! The workers talked to us about the menu, answered all our questions and even allowed us to modify our plates. No faces made and no hesitations. Definitely recommend Nancy’s for some delicious and very well served authentic Mexican food.

The guy was really nice that helped me. But I expressed to him I love spicy chilaqulas and that I’d never found any better then this little restaurant that closed on Hueneme road. He said well we can definitely make them spicy. I was so excited. I get home and take a bite. Definitely not spicy. But they tasted horrible. Almost like something was spoiled in them.. I’ve never gotten myself to go back and try something else.

First time trying out the food here, wasn’t very happy. I ordered the steak and eggs with potatoes plate, i asked for a couple more eggs sunny side up. Anyways after 20 minutes although they were semi busy I got my order to go. I brought it to were 8 was staying anticipating to get my eat on. I opened the plate to find they were only two eggs. So I called them to let them know what had happened, They told me to come back to get the other two eggs. So 5 minutes or so I was back. I had to still wait about 8 min. To finally get the eggs. So I get back wanting my steak and eggs, all the eggs were over cooked so no easy.

BOMB BOMB BOMB. I love Nancy’s #1 so I decided to go to #2. I will go here more often. Highly recommend! I ordered a niche burrito, asada burrito, chicken burrito, and a chicharon burrito. Everything was delicious and on point.
