The pie and the service were good, but the sandwich was very average and the pasta salad okay, but under seasoned. The potato soup was great. There was nothing particularly wrong with the sandwich (although the sourdough was a little stale/dry), but just super blah overall. More craveable sandwich combinations (avocado spread, whole mustard seed spread, etc.) and the choice for toasted sandwiches with better quality bread would definitely be an improvement.

My husband and I went for the first time for lunch today and we will be back! The most friendliness place all around. We had the ham and cheese sandwich and a side salad. It all was very good. We brought a chocolate pie home and it was delicious also. We will be going back to try other things on the menu plus daily specials.

What a cute little place! We stayed in the lodge and had to visit. Hubby and I both had sandwiches with potato salad; he had the turkey, bacon & swiss, and i had the club. They were both delicious and the potato salad was to die for. We also had a slice of pecan and coconut pie and they both were awesome. When we came, it was just miss Nancy in there, and she had a few other customers so we had a small wait, but that was no problem at all. She took great care of us! She was so nice and made us feel right at home. Would definitely recommend a visit here if you’re in town.

Nancy is very nice and is full of heart warming information. She is very passionate about her restaurant and her customers. She has daily specials and good luck making a choice! No choice is a bad choice here! I am just glad they have to-go options since my belly isn’t big enough for everything offered. She also offers catering and special orders on desserts she just needs 24 hour notice! I look forward to trying something new next time I visit. I also heard sunday is chicken pot pie day! Closed on Monday’s but open 11-8 Tuesday thru Sunday.
