Wonderful food. I’d been eying the place since I heard truffle cream sauce. And it was worth it. But some different spins on food.

I stopped in on this place without a reservation on Thursday 8/25/23, Right at the beginning of the Feast of St. Anthony. They were courteous and accommodating. Sat us and were awesome about the three people that are unable to eat Gluten (not easy in the North End). I am Celiac and was able to order a fantastic gluten free gnocchi with alfredo sauce and chicken. It was absolutely bomb. Friendly waitstaff, amazing food, beautiful presentation.

Early Valentines lunch date here with my 5 year old son. We got here at 12:15 much earlier than my original reservation but the hostess sat us and was very friendly.

Do not give this place your money. We had a 7:15 reservation for 8 people and got there at 7pm, we were told our table was finishing up so we grabbed a drink at the bar. 7:15…7:20…7:30… we check in. They are still waiting for the table to finish. In the mean time they have sat several other tables including a 12 top. 7:45…8pm.. we ask again expressing frustrations that several other tables have been sat and no one was even trying to be accommodating. 8:05, a table of 6 leaves next to an empty 2 top, we assume that’s our table…. They seat a walk in party of 6 instead even though we had a reservation for an hour ago. At this point, we express our discontent and leave.

Best restaurant in the North End! My fiancé and I have been coming here ever since it opened and we love the food more & more each visit. The owners are always there greeting everyone, the staff is so accommodating, and the food is the best of the best. Coming from a big Italian family myself, this place feels right at home!

It was a great experience with friendly and not snobbish personnel that welcomed us in. We were seated in a nice table with the street view that was very lively. The place has a lot of natural light and does not feel stuffy. Overall people were feeling comfortable to laugh and talk and enjoy their food. I valued the above greatly. The food was very good and from what i could understand, fresh and well cooked! We got the Branzino and a carbonara for main and some grilled eggplants for appetizer. I am just curious of why carbonara in US has peas instead of mushrooms. I would prefer if my carbonara had a tiny bit more pasta and if it was with the classic spaghetti or penne to eat it easier. With the spoon it was fine in the end. But it tasted amazing and the egg was not smelling at all! <3 I think the prices are fair for Boston and the location. The bread offered with the olive oil was a great quality. We did not try wines but they seem to have a good variety. I believe it is also easily accessible from the main entrance- pretty wide. Indeed the wait until we eat seemed a bit longer but not more than 30min.

The lobster ravioli with vodka sauce was wonderful- generous amounts of lobster and great flavor. The pumpkin ravioli…. It just wasn’t my thing— but it was prepared well— I’ll chalk it up to personal preference.

Best octopus I’ve ever had! The octopus starter is a must. We also loved the rest of the dishes: a halibut special and homemade gnocchi
