First, atmosphere… Not gonna lie, I was worried when I walked up & was told the restaurant was closed but that I could eat in the bar. My worries were soon alleviated though & I was not disappointed in my choice to chance it plus the food was 100% worth it. The architecture while plain on the outside comes to life with character inside. An antique bar back , a beautiful bar top, and those cool tin tiles on the ceiling give it a real cozy vibe. Fair warning to those who are sensitive to loud music or crowds, definitely go earlier so you can eat in the restaurant. But if you don’t mind a lively crowd typical of a little neighborhood bar then you are safe, at least on the slower weeknights.

I had the spaghetti with meat sauce. It was good. Sauce was a little on the acidic side. They brought us complimentary stuffed mushrooms, and they were excellent, and I preferred that sauce. The wife had the chicken piccatta. She said it was really good. I would go here again if in the area. The staff was friendly & attentive.

Came here on a double date. Usually the Italian places here in the south are mediocre at best, but this place blew us all away. The service was great and we were served very quickly. The complimentary bread and sauce was really good, but the best part was my baked ziti. I took a leap of faith and requested meatballs be added and prayed they weren’t frozen like everywhere else around here and I was pleasantly surprised! They were definitely not frozen and they paired well with the baked ziti. The baked ziti itself was perfectly cooked and the sauce was creamy and seasoned really well. Everyone else at the table agreed that this restaurant is a cut above all the others in the area. We will be coming back!

My family really enjoyed ourselves and the food. Staff here were so friendly and attentive. Food and complimentary rolls came out quick, was hot and fresh, very good. My picky eater ate everything. The atmosphere was so peaceful and relaxing. Never been to the bar area but love that the bar is separate from the restaurant sitting area. This place is perfect for a date, hanging out with friends or spending time with family.

The food was amazing, the best Italian we’ve had in a long time. We asked for bruschetta (not on the menu) and they made it for us. The service was great as well – everyone was attentive and very knowledgeable answering our questions about specific dishes. Will recommend to friends!

A total disappointment from start to finish. How do you even get in? We went through a dark side entrance that was dirty and smelled old. The service leaves much to be desired… The garlic rolls were too doughy and the waitress couldn’t explain the difference between home made bread, garlic rolls, and garlic bread… We never got the garden salad we ordered but it was on our bill. The sauce on the lasagna was bitter. The Fettuccini Alfredo was bland and tasteless and gummy.
