The food was good. My rice came out cold, I told them about it and they fixed it right away. That was nice. After looking through the reviews I would have to agree that the amount of meat and vegetables has gone down. I do remember getting more when we first went there. The bathrooms were pretty clean. I think the restaurant looks and smells much better since they did the renovations a few years ago. I would still recommend it. But it would help them to be consistent.

Not as good as it use to be.. the food tastes different and the rice this last time tasted like just plain white rice but was supposed to be fried rice. Can’t complain too much though when 3 people can eat for $20. Will just make sure to substitute the soba noodles for the rice from now on.

Nara’s is always a must when we are in town visiting family. Teriyaki steak plate with broccoli (it comes with rice, sweet carrots, and house made yum yum sauce. It’s what the whole family gets and it’s always amazing.

I have only been getting food from Nara’s for the last year. I was told by my family how good it was. My first few experiences were outstanding in regards to taste and quantity of food. However, the last few months the quantity of food has decreased and the taste of some food has changed. The past two times the broccoli has been cold or crunchy. The amount of chicken has decreased while rice has increased.

Probably my favorite place to eat in McDowell County NC! You can trust that your food will be fresh and cooked to perfection. There’s usually enough for a 2nd meal and it’s just as good the next day. I’m actually going there right now. Keep up the great work Nara! My family appreciates all you do.
