We are in town visiting family and usually order takeout but decided to dine in today. Wonderful atmosphere, excellent service and great food, everything was delicious. Definitely recommend.

Absolutely the freshest ingredients, prepared beautifully at a very fair price. Miso soup was what one might expect (nothing unique) but flavorful and decent volume. Tempura with the egg dish (2 large pieces shrimp and 2 large vegetables for lunch size) had zero greasiness or uncooked batter; it was perfectly cooked. Egg pancake with peas, green beans, scallion carrot, and onion sat on top of rice with tasty mild sauce. Bimimbop (might not be spelling this correctly) was a stunning looking dish. Tuna roll was fairly priced with very fresh chunks of tuna. Wasabi was on the hot side of what I’ve had elsewhere; but it was still edible. I think other places may have been dumbing down their wasabi. Companion and I both took home leftovers. Only a few patrons there around 2 pm for lunch.

Delicious food, friendly service, and great prices! I’ve been here a couple times now and I absolutely love NARA SUSHI! Give them a try; you will not regret it.

I drive 40 mins just to eat here, best sushi for miles! Every item I try on the menu absolutely kills it.

We stopped here after a visit to MOMA quite randomly. We’re not from the area so we were looking around for somewhere to have lunch but nothing was standing out to us, and we love sushi so we figured we’d give Nara a try. It was during the week so it was quite quiet in the area, and the owner was there to greet us and get us seated and she was very friendly and accommodating. We ordered Japchae, and some sushi rolls to share. Everything was fresh and delicious. Their sushi roll menu is really big and creative, I had a hard time choosing! The Monster Roll was our absolute favorite, you have to try it. Interestingly enough when we got to talking with the owner, we found that she used to own one of our favorite sushi places in the town we live in currently in NJ. What a random coincidence! Anyways we highly recommend Nara sushi to anyone in the area, it’s delicious!

This place was shockingly good! Korean run and very efficient with flow and menu design. We only ordered Korean food and specialty rolls. Our ”Kiss of Flame” roll was large and the tempura was crispy with a great sauce over top. I would absolutely return.

TL;DR Food is alright but service has become terrible– I don’t plan to go back and don’t recommend to anyone.

NARA blow all our expectations out of the water – all four rolls and the “jalapeño bomb” we ordered looked and tasted fantastic – and the waitstaff taking care of us were friendly and welcoming as well. Will absolutely come back whenever I’m back in the area!
