I’ve been going here since I was a small child 30 years ago. It was my family’s go-to Mexican restaurant. I’ve lived outside of Houston for 20 years but when I’m back in town, I always try to stop by. The manager still remembers me and my family when we stop in and makes us feel like home. Always brings back good memories. The food is largely the same as always and great at that!

Just lucked into this place while traveling, glad we did. The food is excellent as is the service. Recommendations were right on the money! Our food was wonderful. There are three choices of salsa, they are all good, but one in particular is spectacular. The combination of herbs is very complex and well balanced, I would say it is some of the best salsa I’ve had. The gentleman that served our table was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. It was an overall wonderful experience. We will be back, and we will bring friends!

I see so many great reviews on this place. I was pretty excited to try it, unfortunately I was sadly disappointed. We decided to stop in for lunch today because we were in the area, and we have never been here before. Everyone inside was friendly and the atmosphere seemed good. However, the food was not the greatest, especially for the 108.00 we paid for 4 people. The queso tasted like powdered cheese with some jalapeños on the side, the verde sauce was pretty good, the red sauce was okay. The quesadillas were basically chicken tacos with oily guacamole on the side with some pico de gallo and about 4 tablespoons of sour cream. The chimichanga that my fiancé got was covered in chili con queso and that was fine, except the beef tasted as if zero seasonings were put on it. Additionally the house margarita tasted of very cheap tequila and a mixer that really did not complement the drink (and yes I understand house margarita). I understand people will leave bad reviews out of spite, but this review is to simply pinpoint what the issue was. I wasn’t worried about getting the money back, but for the price of the food, compared to the quality of the food….that is not even worth it. I will just stick to my normal Mexican restaurant where I live.

Was very disappointed yesterday. I had previously ordered from here before and enjoyed the enchiladas, so I decided to order the chicken soup. For $12, all I received was small pieces of chicken 1 small corn and a cut-up carrot. The juice tasted like grease, and I couldn’t even finish the rest. I’ve had many chicken soups from other restaurants, and this, by far, was the worse. I gave two stars because the girl at the front was friendly. I will not be returning.
