A must whenever I’m in Natchez. Good good (especially the BBQ), laidback environment where you can enjoy your food and friendly conversation without feeling stuffy. If you’re looking for an all around good time for dine in or takeout, definitely check out the Blues Bowl. Did I mention the BBQ was slamming?!?! Can’t wait to return to this hidden gem.

found via a film on Southern Foodways Alliance website… southernfoodways.org. one o’ few black female owned restos in town. this downhome joint’s food gone treat ya’ fine all de day long. I could feel de soul from de porch! Miss Jarita, Miss Shelly and Grandma Buelah had me at biscuits.
