Had such a great experience at Nate’s the other night! The creamy spinach chicken is to die for and the servers were extremely sweet. Nate himself was out on the floor and was being very attentive. Salad bar was amazing as well, with so many options!

What a pleasant dining venue in Ecru, MS. I was visiting northeast Mississippi and I happened upon Nate’s steakhouse. While my dining interest was whole fried catfish, I was not disappointed. The 2 piece whole catfish were large, fried to perfection with 2 side dishes. The salad bar was fresh, crispy & colorful. My other side was baked sweet potato. The baked potato was also an option. There are steaks & chicken entrees. Open on Tuesday-Thursday 4:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Friday & Saturday open until 10:00 p.m. Nate’s will see my smiling face on every visit to northeast Mississippi!

The food was excellent! When they had no room in the dining area they let us be served in the kitchen! The staff was so gracious. It was so different but so wonderful! Nate visited with us and made us feel right at home! We were going to a baseball playoff game and we’re in a sort of a hurry! Our food was served quickly! Would I eat there again? I sure would!

This is a local restaurant. Reminds me of holidays at mom’s house. That said, I had the filet and it was cooked perfectly and well seasoned. Honestly I wasn’t expecting the steak to be as good as it was. Better than your high priced steak places. Service was excellent.

As someone who has traveled far and wide, it’s surprising to see such a hidden gem just a few miles from where I grew up. I’m proud the area has a steakhouse that I would be comfortable sending friends from out of town to try.

First time I ate there over a year ago, I got the worst cut of steak I’ve ever had and left hungry after spending hard earned money. Tonight decided to give them a second chance. My wife ordered for pickup as I listened across the room. Anyways she picks up our order, my burger is plain instead of as ordered, luckily i was able to dress it at home. No tartar sauce for her fish, instead of extra crispy her fish was extra soggy and not edible. Don’t even know how her sons Hamburger steak plate was though the grand daughters was dressed even though it was supposed to be plain because they left with them headed home before he checked his. My wife called to let them know that 3 out of 4 orders at a minimum were wrong and the lady proceeded to argue about what she ordered and what she got at which time my wife hung up, once she calmed down she called back and was met with condescension and ineptitude by the same lady and she hung up again and decided it just wasn’t worth it.

My husband and I had had an emotional day taking our youngest to Blue Mountain College. We decided a nice steak dinner would help so we found Nate’s from reading other Google reviews. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Even though it was very busy and crowded, the atmosphere was so calming. Our wonderful waitress, Vicki, was so friendly and caring. We loved the fresh abundant salad bar and the onion petals. We shared a 10 oz. ribeye that was grilled to perfection. It was so juicy and flavorful! The only disappointment was we were so full, we couldn’t indulge in the delicious looking German chocolate cake!
