When walking through miami international airport with eye boogers and yawning you get lifting up with the energy and music with the workers at Nathans Hot Dogs. We got a solid breakfast muffin listening to the tunes of earth, wind and fire while waiting for our flight. Shoutout to Mona and Natasha for bringing the positive vibes at 6:30 AM

Both women working this made it a great little breakfast experience! The cashier was wonderful in modifying my order even after I’d initially placed it & changed my mind. Natasha, the manager, was running the grill and asked a question following up to make sure it was exacting right. She also came over and connected w me about our shared home state… the whole experience was so much more than I’d ever the norm, especially for an airport quick stop meal. Really sweet start to the morning.

The coffee was out, no problem. My wife got a coffee right away, but I was waiting for mine. As long as she had hers, I was good to wait. While I waited for the coffee pot to brew, I grabbed my cup (sitting on the counter), the cup that I paid for already, and began to put my creamer and sugar (every morning I put creamer and sugar into my coffee and then I pour the coffee. I asked a girl if the can right in front of me (less than two feet across the counter) was a trash can. She said yes, but you can use the trash at the end of the counter (12 feet away). Then that girl asked the cashier (Zakeria) if I ordered coffee. I heard her ask twice. Z confirmed that I had ordered coffee. The girl came back to me and said “sir, can I have that cup back?” Mind you, the coffee pot wasn’t even a 1/4 full yet…. She was super irritated with me for some reason and it was super obvious… I gave her my cup back. She removed the coffee pot and tried letting the coffee just pour/drip into my cup. It was super slow so she started to pour from the coffee pot turning it sideways while still keeping my cup under the drip from the coffee machine. After 25-30 seconds of this insanity, she had filled my cup 3/4 of the way and handed it to me and told me to move to the end of the line. I was done with her attitude and told her to relax. I finished putting my sugar in my coffee and left. That type of service to start my day was unacceptable. I had just convinced my wife to leave the Starbucks line to come to Nathan’s Famous Hot Dogs. That was a mistake! Next time we will all go to Starbucks where the service is ALWAYS top notch and where people are appreciated.

Chicken sandwich was actually great! And the young lady who took my order, it was her second day and there’s a lot learn, she got myborder right, quick, was quite friendly. Which getting any of the above in an airport can be a challenge. So next time I am hanging out in concourse H at MIA, I would totally stop by Nathan’s again.

The line was crazy long; however, the Nathan’s employees were attentive, communicative, and quick. Erica ( I think she was the manager) was very cordial, professional, and super patient. I watched her with through a language barrier with a customer with grace and kindness. If my company had a local office, I would try to hire her for client service.
