I used the mobile app to order my food and was delighted to find the food was ready to go when I arrived. When I first opened up the burger I was surprised to see it didn’t look appealing. But when I put it all together and bit into it, I was reassured that it was a great burger. I had the strawberry tart with whipped cream. I enjoyed both items I ordered. I’m not from California any longer, I’m happy to be able to have a nation’s burger.

First visit here. Burgers were bigger than expected. Onion rings were great! Fun atmosphere! Little pricier than expected, but everything has gone up everywhere. Worth it, both of us ate for $31. Meal and drink. Didn’t see any sort of combo – all items appear to be sold individually. The fries looked good. I would suggest ordering light onion. As you can see I requested onion, and you definitely get onion.

My first time at Nation’s Modesto. So happy it is here! We went late in the evening. A few diners were there and more came and went as we ate. The guy who took our order was super helpful and friendly. When our meal was ready, I bit into a thick, juicy hamburger which exceeded my expectations – I think a lot of us are overly fast food trained when it comes to thickness and juiciness of the patty. It was nice to have a fresh burger thrown on a flat top and cooked to order for once. It was delicious. Before we left, we ordered two slices of pie to go(they were delicious as well). My husband noticed they offered breakfast too. So we’re looking forward to trying it out!

The first impression, the place was empty on a Saturday night when all restaurants are busy. They don’t have drive-thru because they are using old Wells Fargo Bank building as restaurant. The menu has no kids options or combo options, you’ll have to pick each item individually. I picked the cheese burger with fries and onion rings. The cheese burger looked more like a club sandwich you make on a rush in the morning from the leftover items in the fridge. You can feel each ingredients individually, none of the ingredients come together to taste like a burger. The burger bun tasted like it just came out of fridge, the patty obviously frozen with no taste. I wouldn’t be returning here as I found nothing appealing except the dozens of employees behind the counter. There was more employees than customer at the building but still food didn’t taste even okay. Would not recommend this place. I am surprised this place is even open. A sandwich in a grocery store deli has more flavor than their burger .

4 star just to factor for the pricing. I found the burgers and fries to be real good for a semi-fast food. There was a generous amount of produce and sauce but this also makes the burger a bit difficult to eat as it starts to slide and fall apart. I’m not counting that as a negative since I could have just taken that off. The staff were incredibly friendly and the food came at a reasonably quick time. The place looked clean as well. Order was taken of a cheese burger and fries with a soft drink. Waited about 10 minutes and once received and bite taken, my opinion was that bun was a bit dry and cold. Plenty of lettuce, tomato, and onion, and mayonnaise. It was a large burger and filling. To my tastebuds the burger was bland tasting. I think there are plenty burgers out there for everyones taste, but this burger is not for me.

This place is great. Nice people work here. Lots of samples too. Always leave here so full and happy. Yasmin is the best and the nicest lady here. She made sure our order was all perfect and did a great job making samples for everyone. Can’t believe how wonderful the apple pie is.

Good new place that has an old diner feel. Obviously it’s a new restaurant so they are working out their kinks. While we were here, the Modesto Bee was there so I’m assuming it was different than an average day as the owners were around in suits and they were handing out samples of pies.
